Food is average. Service is horribly slow - I was only one here and still I waited quite long for service, even longer for food and even longer for a bill ... in parallel the service talk to each other and tried to kill time. EDIT: Service noticed this review during my stay (I still waited for asking for a bill) and was quite rude and argued with me. It's quite sad when service notice google review earlier than guest who is waiting 20 minutes for asking for the bill. REPLY TO COMMENT: I'm changing review to one star as there're lies in your response. Nobody asked me, if I need anything. Nobody even looked from behind a corner so I could wave or ask for something - you were hidden somewhere there and had fun with each other. I had to go to your place to ask for that second portion of a sauce during my lunch - should I went behind that corner every time I needed something or is it your job? I wasn't dissatisfied with a food - food was ok, mediocre, 3 star for it (comparing to my 2 months stay in Greece and experience with other greek restaurants), so I have no complain to that, I just wrote like it is. This tavern style restaurant, the "Rose of Deliciousness" that opened in 1995 is located inside an arcade on Lekka Street #22 ... only about a five minute walk from Syntagma Square .

I first visited it many years ago when its ambiance & menu were a bit more humble... but as today, considered by the locals as a hidden treasure you share with good friends .... 😊😊 .... and a place where you enjoy tasty home style Greek food made with high quality locally sourced ingredients and really fresh reasonably priced seafood! 👍😍👍

A seafood gem. Warning, this place gets crowded, so get there when they open if you want to get a seat. The wait staff and proprietor are very nice and provide warm and friendly service despite the filled tables. My partner and I visited twice during our 10 day visit in Athens. The food was delicious. We started with ouzo and the litre of red wine, then proceed to order the cabbage with carrot salad, tomato salad, black bean salad, fried potatoes, grilled salted cod, grilled octopus, fried shrimp, and fried calamari.
