I had visited the place as a felafel lover.
It was distressful to be shouted and undermined by the tall young man behind the serving counter.
As a salad lover, I had asked for extra salad in my wrap, that I'm always willing to pay for. A slice of lemon and pickles as I ask for when I rarely visit.
I was shouted at by the tall slim man serving behind the counter. Refusing to give me in the rudest way possible... So unnecessary to be treated this way! And something I'm not used to in my culture! He did eventually but the experience was uncomfortable. No politeness at all but aggressively the opposite.
I'm not from Greece so was taken back by this behaviour. A felt disappointed at his lack of respect. A little humanity goes a very long way.
It would help if visitors are treated a little more humanely.
I'm not sure as where the men and boys working there are from. Perhaps from Syria?
And it wasn't that long ago that I had set up a support group supporting so many refugees from Syria and Lebanon and Palestine who made their way across the sea to Cyprus for safety. For 3 years I had supported mothers and children and men who had crossed the sea to safety. In the kindest way possible.
The organisation I created, the information I had sent out across the island for urgent items needed by all who found themselves as refugees to the island helped and supported so many. Together with people who became volunteers who helped me out in distribution and the many gifts and donations of food and clothing, blankets given by many, my house became a centre for donations and gifts. It was beautiful and overwhelming that so many cared and shared. Gifts that made children and parents find hope again in the bleakness...
So boys, sometimes when a person comes into the shop, you don't know who they are or how they have dedicated their time to help people close to you, in crisis.
I may have bought a felafel for two euro, but it's at times as these, when you serve those who come into your shop, that you have to remember a little human compassion and respect. Many times it's not just about the money, but the kindness we have in our hearts that' we need to share, our greatest wealth. Next time, when you look at someone standing there at the counter, smile, it doesn't cost anything because you never know, what good they have done in their lives to help you... Because every human being deserves dignity and respect ..
All the best.
My rating is for the rude behaviour.
I just hope my words are of value to you. I just hope that next time you remember that instead of aggression and rudeness, you are more polite.

Read moreOrdered the falafels here and also the kebab. Decent tasting but not my favorite. Also ordered fries, and it seems that they mixed a fresh batch and an old batch together and served it. Some fries tasted crispy and hot while in the same batch tasted cold and stale. But it’s a cheap, affordable place to swing in for a quick bite.
Extremely humid, doesn’t seem like the air conditioning works here and the cleanliness is questionable. Hostess doesn’t really direct you on how the ordering system works. But it seems there is a lot of foot traffic here due to the cheap costs...
Read moreSigns says Halal on the shop, however when I asked the staff working there if both meat and chicken your serving is Halal, he didn't give a conclusive answer and replied "in sha Allah" (means if god permits) and followed by we don't serve pork.
From experience that kind of answer is used to avoid lying without making the customer retreat and go somewhere else.
The reason I asked the question because I ktocied some restaurants mentions that only lamb is Halal for example.
I wasn't comfortable with his answer and so ordered...
