Το Στέκι — Restaurant in Athens

First night in Athens staying at a hotel nearby, reading the reviews, I decided my wife and I had to give this a try. We were blown away. To Στέκι does not disappoint. We only speak English and they did not speak much, but we all seemed to manage to understand one another without issue. We ordered and they suggested we start with the Greek salad, so we did. Honestly, it was so good alone, we could have just stopped there. My wife ordered the Sea Bream and I had the chicken schnitzel. Food was not quick, but this isn't supposed to be fast food. Gave us plenty of time to enjoy the salad and the toasted bread without feeling rushed. Food was all wonderful and plentiful. Service came with a smile. Prices are very very humble. This place is walking distance from many Airbnb if you are staying near by , close to supermarket, is safe to walk around , miss margarita and her husband giorgos are very kind people , the food is very good very tasty , I highly recommend. I rate this beautiful business 💞 a 10/10 my favorite app is the Greek salad 🥗, my husband is Greek so of course the slouvaky and lambd can't miss out . If you're after a no thrills authentic Greek Cafe then this is the place. We were the only "tourists" in there because this is where the locals eat and when you eat the food you'll know why. Hubby had a plate of the most tender squid and I carnivored my way through a plate of char grilled lamb chops and a tasty fresh salad.
