T' Agnantio — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Our host recommended we come here to try the food and such a great surprise. To be able to walk outside the busy main pedestrian street and step into a world of peaceful relaxation and Greek food palace of tastes. If you are in Lefkada YOU HAVE to come here and make sure you arrive before the busy dinner times (after 19:30-22:00).

My recommended courses, if you want to try:

Start with a zucchini balls plate (contains 6 pieces) Then try any dish with shrimps and pasta (fresh) or go for a dorata fish (you get to choose the fresh fish from their fridge, and they will cook the exact one you picked) For desert you can try one of the two options: yoghurt with honey or yoghurt with bitter cherries.

Even the location itself is beautiful (yes, this is for you photographers/Instagram creators!).

We went there for food. There was quite the long waiting queue, so we already knew that it was worth it. Even in waiting they were very transparent about the waiting time, and we could have a drink and a look at the menu. Once we got seated the restaurant look very beautiful and cosy sitting outside. We felt right at home. The service and warmth that we received from the staff is its own experience by itself. It is very scarce to see people being so kind and passionate about what they do. We expected so much from this place. Food wasn't terrible, but neither was good. Three of us ordered octopus for dinner, portion was big, but very poor quality and really hard to chew, even to cut. Greek salad was not fresh at all. But that isn't main reason why I am so unsatisfied. I never leave bad reviews even if I am not completely satisfied with the food. When I tried to give friendly suggestion to the waiter (I eat same dish constantly and I know what I'm talking about), response from a waiter was rather unpolite and disrespectful. He act like my intention was to try not to pay or something similar. He was like: "Why didn't you complain at the beggining, you are complaining now when you almost finished" and "no one ever had such complains". And then he just left. I would not recommend this...
