Avoid this place! It is located in a quiet cozy street in the busy old town but that’s the only nice thing about it! My wife and I sat for a simple lunch - we ordered greek salads - the tomatoes were totally unripe and tasteless, which is quite disappointing for a Mediterranean country in August. We also ordered Tirokafteri labeled as “Spicy Cheese Dip” in the menu. We’ve tried it before in many other restaurants and it’s always spicy as the name in Greek implies. What we got here though was just some salty cheese. When we kindly asked the waiter/manager/owner why is the tirokafteri not spicy, he started yelling at us that to “his mouth” it is spicy and that out of 2000 people that had ordered his tirokafteri, we are the first ones to complain. He also said that this is how he serves it, “straight from the package”, and he didn’t offer us some spicy paprika. He kept yelling that he has given us as a compliment for free one extra slice of bread to eat the tirokafteri with. Keep in mind that in most places this starter dish is served with bread but in this restaurant you have to order the bread and pay for it separately (which we did). After much yelling only from his side, at least he offered to take the tirokafteri off the check. He also didn’t ask how we would pay and just gave us the check and waiting for us to...

Read moreWe found it to be a nice place to have diner. The food is mostly good.
The salad, melanzane starter (like baba ganoush) were good. The bread was plentiful and fresh.
We had a sofrito which was not great. The seasoning felt not homemade, the rice was very basic and the fries could have fried a minute more. The stifado was good, nice and reasonably tender, well seasoned and nice sauce. I would consider eating this again on a next time.
We had a good salad as starter, but It still misses some vegetables or tomatoes or something to accompany the main dishes. We asked if it was, and we were told it would be, but Id like to suggest they mention ordering a side dish.
The white house wine was very very basic.
The price was reasonable, slightly high.
We were not offered any water, which was our first in Kerkyra, but received a nice little yoghurty/strawberries deserts...
