Apothiki - Tsipouradiko — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Authentic spot in the middle of town. Tucked away in an alley just off one of the main roads but still wholly atmospheric.

The owner, a 30-something year old local working in the local bar and restaurant scene for years already, started this place a few years ago; taking over from the previous owner that ran the place for many years.

The things he changed? Nothing, except but expand and adapt the food menu for modern tastes. The interior is still its beautiful old self, making this place a remarkable peek back...

Disapointed!!

The food is disgusting and extremly overpriced. It gets microwaved and is barely warm. The Spinach pie was at least a few days old an tasted horrible. The salads are very tiny for the price. You don't even get bread or seasonings. Also the waitress was unfriendly and more intrested in her phone than in the customers. The chairs oustide were very uncomfortable.

the taste of the food is good but, you pay 14€ for a gyros plate that is not even a standard size plate. its way to small for the price. The waiter is unfriendly and doesnt care about the complaint. other than that, inside there is a “do not smoke” sign and the waiter himself was smoking inside. In my opinion its a tourist scam.
