Ok I will start by saying the food is very very good. If you are a tourist American I highly suggest only take away and not eating in 😞 it is right at the base of the place we are staying and was very excited but the wait staff was horrible. Not the cooks they were very friendly. I did take away and that went ok. Then my husband and I went back to sit down. There was a clean table outside ( where it is alot cooler and more pleasant) but they said it was for 4. So they made up sit at a table for 4 inside which was insanely hot. They did turn a fan on. But not 3 min late I look down and they split that table of 4 into 2 tables of 2. We asked if we could move we had not ordered yet and they said no with a look like what ever. We travel alot and you know when you are not really welcome some place. This is the first time ever ever ever in Greece 5th trip to Greece we have ever been treated this way. Made us very sad. It was a shame. Other country's but not Greece. Also feel like the menu price was higher and it might have been the...
Read moreMe and my friend have visited Pitonostimies at 23rd July 2021. We were tired after exploring Korfu town and wanted to eat something fast and cheap. We asked for two pita gyros with chicken and a coke. The “food” that we got was the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. It was unfresh, the meat had nothing to do with chicken gyros (I’ve been living in Greece for the past two years, ate many souvlakia and never has experienced something like that). The meat looked like leftovers from someone else’s plates, moreover it was still raw at some pieces! We ate few bites of it and only pita with nothing inside only because we were hungry and in hurry for the bus. Moreover, at the evening I had stomach ache because of your food!To the owner of this place- SHAME ON YOU! You know that you serve disgusting, unfresh and unbeatable dishes. Due to pandemic everyone’s suffering financially, but it’s not the reason to serve people something like that! Stay away from this place and don’t...
Read moreThis place has quickly become one of my favorite souvlaki spots in town. While staying true to the classic Greek flavors we all love, the owner isn’t afraid to get creative, and it works. The new sandwich plates are a bold and tasty surprise, especially the one with sausage and kimchi. It’s the perfect mix of spicy, smoky, and tangy, wrapped in a soft pita that brings it all together.
Another big highlight is the selection of Corfu beers. These local brews are excellent, and they pair perfectly with the food. It’s rare to find a souvlaki place that puts this much thought into both the menu and drink options.
Friendly service, great prices, and a vibe that mixes tradition with just the right amount of innovation. Highly recommend dropping by if you’re in the mood for something both...
