Bizou Café & Antiques — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Delicious meal at this restaurant. So many vegan options it was hard to choose! We got the royal scrambled tofu dish and zucchini savoury pancakes. We loved both but didn’t like the vegan cheese that was used - but we’re not a fan of the strong vegan cheese taste so if you like it then you will enjoy!

We ended with pistachio ice cream and royal ice cream which were both insanely delicious. They are very expensive but would highly recommend! And would definitely have these again.

The vibe of the place was nice, with a live pianist who was amazing. It was a little squashed / hectic though!

However where our experience fell was the food took absolutely ages to arrive and the service wasn’t that friendly sadly :( maybe they were a bit stressed but we didn’t feel welcome.

Really nice place 100% vegan, the only one in Corfu town! They offer a great variety of dishes: scrumbled tofu, pancakes both sweet and savory, baguettes, toasts with jam and peanut butter or chocolate or savoury ones, fruit salad and yogurt, burritos, salads and much more. To drink they offer cappuccino with almond or oat milk (very creamy), different smoothies, hot tea, hot chocolate in many flavors. They also have desserts (like tiramisu which unfortunately was over that day) and raw dishes. I tried the large beans in tomato sauce (my favorites) and mushroom pancakes (soo nice and the portion was huge). I would have loved to try the whole menu and I really recommend having a breakfast/lunch/dinner at their place. Words can't even describe how amazing Bizou is. Firstly the service - we ordered and then a freak storm came out of nowhere, yet instead of turning us away while their café was literally flooding they gave us amazing hospitality, and kept cooking for us! The food itself is delicious. We had the Greek Dakos, Baked Cheese and Mushroom Pancakes and would highly recommend all three. I think my favourite was the baked cheese though, I could easily have spooned it straight from the pot without the bread. The batter they use for the pancakes is also amazing. These were only a few things that we tried but the menu is expansive and varied for all tastes. We had to rush to get our flight but the dessert menu looked incredible as well.
