Cucina Di Boneti — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Italy in the heart of Corfu. I think this was the best food we ate in all of Greece. We have been to 3 islands, as well as Athens, and only the most expensive and gourmet restaurants have compared closely to the fresh Italian food served at this lovely restaurant in Corfu old town. It is tucked away a bit from the hustle and bustle so it is less busy, but boy is it worth the minutes walk. We ate here 3 times for dinner in 5 days. It’s THAT good. Plus they are so kind and nice welcoming to all their guests. The lady who runs it (can’t remember her name now) puts so much love into her food and you taste it in every bite. We had the most lovely meal here. The folks who own it are delightful and kind people and make every effort to make the meal special. The location is quaint and tucked away from the madness. The food was truly sublime and you can tell they really know what they’re doing in the kitchen- it’s authentic Italian food made with artisan, scratch-made ingredients. Refined pasta selection, elegant appetizers, great wine list, and the Secondis also looked stellar though we all got pasta for our main. I would recommend the squid ink linguine with scallops and the ravioli with shrimp. For appetizer, the Caramelized Feta is one of the most delicious appetizers I’ve had in a while. What a lovely authentic Italian dining experience out of the tourist craze of Old Town Corfu! The family-owned and operated business is charming and the food - deliziosa. We had a mushroom salad that was very unique and a meal within itself. I had the popular carbonara pasta which wasn’t super heavy like others I’ve had. My husband had the vegetarian crepe which he gave high marks and a shared bite. They have an extensive selection of wines and desserts too.
