The owner/staff of Falavela are extremely nice and welcoming. It's healthy fast food type of place. Good vibes, clean, nice music, and it's open til 11pm. šŸ‘ Must try: Even if you are not a "salad type of person", do yourself a favour and try the Falavela salad! It's the best salad we've ever had - the combination of fresh local Cretan produce and the fantastic flavour. We kept coming back for it during our time in Chania. We tried the pumpkin soup, falafel wraps, and carrot cake as well. All of them were very good too, but our absolute highlight was the Falavela salad. šŸ„— We hope to be back in Chania and Falavela again very soon!

First impression is that the owner gave us plenty of room to look at the menue before ordering. The owner where verry kind and talked good english. The food tasted delicious. I ordered a falavel classic and my girl ordered a falafel plate. Both where big enough as a dinner and the price for drinks where allso cheap. The falafel tasted good, healty and had a lot os tast in it. My entire wrap tasted as a perfect combination of everything. Would gladly come back another time!

You can tell that everything was homemade, the falafels were very tasty! The owner was very friendly too. We liked the location as it is not right in the center, so it was quiet but still in a walking distance from the main center streets. If you have some time and would like to enjoy homemade falafels, salads and dips, stop at this place and order the falafel plate. You will not regret it :)

Recommending this place 100%! I went there with my husband last week for dinner and we ordered a Falafel plate with 6 pieces. It was really delicious and totally enough for two people. Didn't get a good vibe and feeling when I got there, but my friends seemed to be wanting to eat there. I didn't like it, baba ganoush was not good, yogourt too watered down, humus and falafel were ok. It didnt seem very fresh and made with love. Not appealing. My friends didn't like it either. But what was the worse was the waiter (owner?), smoking and then going to prepare our meals without washing his hands, and coming back to his cigarette. The whole thing felt gross. Didn't feel like considerate service. (A glass of water would be nice. Even in coffee shops they give us water). My belly was hurting for many hours after the meal. Glad I took activated charcoal right after. It's my worst meal after 1 month in Crete, and I don't eat in fancy restaurants but...

The food was good but the stuff was very rude. My friends(like 7 people) were eating there and I came with some donuts and two other friends. I asked very nicely if I could stay there with the donuts, the owner said yes unless there are customers. I told him I'll be responsible for keeping it in mind. Nobody came, the place was empty apart from us and he told after 10 min "you need to order or go" in a very aggressive-you are-unwelcome-here-way. Very rude and very unacceptable and unfair after agreeing with me. No matter how good the food is, if people do this things does not encourage me to ever return with...
