The cafe is small but nice. The menu on the wall is written mainly in Greek, which is not very tourist friendly. We noticed the couple on the table next to ours had an English menu on the table, but we didn't, so we had to faff around with trying to find the menu online, which wasn't as simple as we'd hoped, as it kept appearing in Greek only. The staff kept themselves behind the counter and did not come to ask if we need help, despite the cafe being quite empty.

When we were finally ready to order, we went to the till - there was no greeting at all from the young man behind the counter. We said hello - no answer. Quite rude.... This annoyed me enough to not want to order drinks, so we just ordered the breakfast we had come for and chose to go and have coffee somewhere else later. They did not have croissants, as it was "too early in the day" so they still didn't have their delivery. So my partner ordered a pumpkin muffin. The muffin was delicious and moist.

After waiting for my acai bowl to be made, I was then called to come pick it up from the counter. Again - the cafe wasn't busy, staff was just standing around and talking. If you want to develop your cafe - you should improve your service. It would have cost you nothing to come and serve the acai bowl. And it might have made more business for you, as we might have chosen to stay for coffee.

Overall, food was delicious, but the staff attitude needs a lot of...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Grain Cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The ambiance was cozy and charming, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Now, let's talk about the highlight of my visit – the oat milk iced latte. It was truly a revelation! The baristas at Grain Cafe have truly mastered the art of crafting the perfect drink. The oat milk added a creamy and velvety texture, perfectly complementing the rich and bold flavor of the coffee. It was refreshing, smooth, and had just the right balance of sweetness. Each sip was a delightful journey for my taste buds.

Beyond the exceptional drink, the service at Grain Cafe was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and passionate about their craft. They made sure I felt welcome and took the time to answer any questions I had about their menu offerings.

The overall experience at Grain Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of a cozy atmosphere, outstanding oat milk iced latte, and attentive service truly sets this coffee shop apart. If you're a coffee enthusiast like me, I highly recommend paying Grain Cafe a visit – you won't be...

At home, I usually eat porridge for breakfast, but here in Crete, the standard choices were mostly omelets/pancakes, sandwiches, or yogurt with fruit. So I was all the happier when I discovered this little bakery. The berry porridge was so delicious that I returned two days in a row. Everything was freshly prepared, and the coffee was excellent. As was the herbal tea (house blend). The other dishes and pastries also looked very tempting. I recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a freshly prepared, high-quality breakfast in a...

Breakfast at this spot near the center of the city. Small, only two tables to dine in. Half of the menu is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Very interesting options. we ordered turkey bagel, sandwich with omelette and chia seeds soaked over night at almond milk with puree of fruits. Personally I really liked the sandwich omelette, the bread was very very tasty and the Turkey bagel.. chia not my cup of tea but this is just a personal matter of taste. We will definitely come back to this lovely coffee place.
