Tasty fresh food and amazing surreal atmosphere! Highly recommend! ❤️ The restaurant is located in the cosy narrow street in the old town of Chania. It has amazing incredible atmosphere and views - it looks almost unreal and it feels like you are in the movie. The food is great too. We ordered the mixed specialty plate for 2 and the mixed seafood plate to share (3 of us). Everything was really fresh and tasty but we especially enjoyed fish (both types). Taking these mixed plates was a perfect option to try all of the local specialties and the portions were big enough to leave us really full ;) The prices were similar to those we have seen in other restaurants in Chania/Crete but definitely serve better price/quality ratio :) At the end as a gift we were served a small desert and a shot of raki each. We first came across this restaurant while walking back to the bus from another restaurant in Chania old town and immediately fell in love with its looks. We knew we would come back and so we did. We especially came to Chania on our last evening in Crete to visit this restaurant. It was definitely worth it! If I am ever back in Crete, I will come back and will recommend it to anyone I know going...

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT IN CHANIA! I strongly advise to AVOID this restaurant. Beautiful and idyllic in setting, our food, service and treatment was the worst I have received in all of my travels in Greece. Long wait time for the food of 45min+ in a less than half full restaurant. Sadly when the food arrived it was over cooked, over salted and over seasoned. The old guy in charge offers zero management or accountability for himself or his staff. Don't bother complaining. He probably will argue, laugh in your face and and dismiss you as he did us. Save your money and sanity and go somewhere else.

P.S. I complained about the food and the owner is claiming its harassment. In addition, my bill was paid in full. At no point did I ask for a discount or anything free. Clearly, the owner will twist the truth to skew an honest report from a paying customer. Just read the other poor reviews about him, his staff and food and the trend is...

Beautiful scent of Jasmin due to the overhanging ‘roof’. Gorgeous authentic setting and decor. You feel like you’re in Greece and nowhere else in the world; it’s perfect. Friendly staff. We ordered the appetizer meze for two (salads and veg etc) but they brought us the meat one! We didn’t like to complain so my partner, who barely eats meat, had to eat it all (we hate waste). It was easily enough to feed four so excellent value especially if you’re a meat fan (we’re not ordinarily). I enjoyed the baked peppers and courgettes and did actually try a little of the chicken. At the end of the meal we were brought a plate of grapes - the waitress explained were from her little village which the community pick together. They were sweet and beautiful. The tables around us left theirs untouched, sadly. I got a lot of mosquito bites there. There’s a few restaurants up the street that are scammers - please avoid and go...

Először lehagyták a tzazikit. Aki gyrost szeretne enni, ajánlom a főutcán a szökőkút melletti helyet. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. We would have liked to spend our last evening in Crete here, but we had to leave disappointed. We waited a long time for our food, about 40-50 minutes, and we would have endured it if those around us who came later had not got it sooner. I had a gyro platter, it was overpriced, the meat was raw, chewy, too fatty, hardly any vegetables. We ordered extra tzaziki, which was tasteless compared to what was on the platter. Very few vegetables were served. The staff were grumpy, didn't listen to us enough. First they refused the tzaziki. Everyone around us got a gift of sweets and raki, the 9 of us didn't get any, we were supposed to have run out...my opinion, if we get our dinner earlier, first come first served, there will still be sweets left. Sorry we went here on our last night. If you want to eat gyros, I recommend the place on the main street by the fountain. We were in Crete for a week, it would have been better to go home without going here, but the other places were friendly, with good food and nice service. The only good thing here was the beautiful . I am very sad.
