The Enetikon has a great menu and is situated just off the main walkway in the port. A waiter greeted us promptly and had us (myself and my two kids) seated immediately. The service was faster than normal for what we have experienced in Greece, however, 2/3 meals were slightly dissapointing and taking the high prices into consideration, we wish they just seasoned the food a bit more. The portions were good sizes though.
After the meal we were offered a delicious dessert and I also got a sweet wine which I enjoyed. However, the whole event turned sour when it came to paying and the gentleman sitting at the cash register inside the restaurant refused to even look up at me when I went to pay, didn't return my "good evening" and even after me asking him to add my tip still didn't acknowledge me. He just shoved the card machine towards me and litteraly threw the receipt towards where it fell on the counter in front of me. Today I can laugh it of but it was very disappointing at the time to be treated with such contempt. A waiter was standing next to this man when all of this was occurring and he looked visibly uncomfortable with the behavior. I would have given their service 5/5 if it wasn't for the last 3min of the evening. And again the food was mediocre for what we paid. Won't return and...
Read moreAlthough the location is great and the menu looks fine and it could taste well, we found lots of lamp fur in our dish & a human long piece of hair, but we made the mistake not to call them straight away to show it to them because we were disgusted & just took it of the plate immediately. However, we did mention it alongside with the fact that the other dish we ordered, mousaka, which we didn't eat, was extremely salty. They didn't do anything in particular to apologize, just offered us two beers for free (about 0,80€ total cost for them). Mousaka would taste well if it wasn't for the salt and the starters were nice, with no hair! They finally didn't charge for mousaka. I hope their cook will be more careful in the future and the owner a bit more professional....
Read moreI was a bit disappointed with my experience: came here for dinner with a reservation to find us being sat in the only table left which was almost in the middle of the passing crowd. The staff were fine but felt they were more interested in taking care of the tourists passing by than of the seated patrons. The food we ordered was fine but took long to come compared to previous places. I ordered the chilopites (Greek pasta) with lamb, which was fine but a bit basic (they are not cooked together, it is literally pasta plus lamb on top). The gyros and some starters were good and parts generous. Quite busy and loud area, so if you want a calm dinner, you might want to try something else. Came here since it was recommended by some guides, not sure exactly...
