We tried Luca's trattoria with great expectations. The arancinis were crispy and tasty. The caprese salad the same. The carbonara mediocre nothing to do with Francesco's and as per the pasta alle vongole, we all thought it was horrible. Literally five or six oysters the pasta was almost floating in oil and a pure disappointment for the closing dish. Thus we'got deserts: the ice cream was nicely presented with side supplements (nuts,choco, etc) the tiramisu ok. The Sauvignon Blanc excellent choice. I left the pizza for the end: slim dough romano style fine ingredients, maybe too much meat in the covered one and a little 'wet' bottom not crispy for the other one. As per the boiled egg no comment. Prices could be justified in case of better secondi piati. Please Luca make some adjustments. Read moreI’ve visited this restaurant three times now, and each experience has been consistently wonderful. The atmosphere is perfect, relaxed enough for an early dinner with the kids, yet stylish and cozy enough to make it an ideal spot for a date night.
What I love most is the pizza because it is thin, light, and not overly filling, which means you can easily try more dishes without feeling weighed down. The risotto was a true highlight comforting, flavourful, and simply unforgettable.
