Barraki — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

Went there today (17 August) with my girlfriend. We ordered a mix grill for 2 people that costed 18 euros. Judging from the reviews and people there we thought it would be a nice place to eat something of high quality. Little did we know that it was the exact opposite. The food took around 30 minutes to arrive and when it did, the amount of meat in the dish was disappointing. There was one sausage, one stake, 2 burgers and a weird chicken fillete. The sausage was pretty mediocre nothing fancy and nothing weird. The pork burger mince wasn't made well and we could see chunks of meat coming out of it. I tried a chicken stake, it was not very well cooked and so wasn't the chicken fillete. We cut it in half and it was red, something you don't want to see while eating chicken. The pork stake was not that bad. Overall this dish could be made better in so many ways, but the cook decided to sell us the most rotten meat they had in the kitchen. The only good food in this dish was the potatoes (I counted 12). The bread they brought us was like gum and they charged us 3 euros for it even though we didn't order it and didn't intend to. The dessert consists of 2 things. One is a cheesecake and the other one is an ekmek kantaifi. The cheesecake's cream was really good, but the base tasted like it was made from overbaked coffee cookies. The ekmek was delicious though. Finally, the Raki they served us had a really weird taste, like liquid hel, and as I have tried many different quality Rakis this one wasn't one of them. Had no problem with the staff, they were really friendly and helpful. I wouldn't recommend this place to eat as there are so many other great quality places in Herakion but it's up to you if you want to try it....

Πολύ καλό το σέρβις είναι και προθυμία στην εξυπηρέτηση να βρουν να σε βολέψουν κάπου να κάτσεις ακόμα και αν είναι γεμάτο πολύ καλός ο dj αν σου αρέσουν τα λαϊκά και γενικά τα ελληνικά από τα τους καλύτερους που έχω ακούσει πολύ καλός ο κόσμος ψηλό μεγάλος βέβαια αλλά πολύ δυνατός οι τιμές είναι λίγο τσιμπημένες γενικότερα αλλά είναι από τα καλύτερα μαγαζιά στο Ηράκλειο για ουζάκι μπυριστα ή ότι άλλο θέλετε και επιθυμείτε να πιείτε έχεις 2 ορόφους με αρκετά τραπέζια και πάμε και κάτω και μέσα αλλά το καλό σημείο είναι στον κυρίως μέρος του μαγαζιού και προς τα μέσα από πίσω και πάνω νομίζω δε λέει και πολλά είναι όμως για πιο πολύ να κάνεις παρέα να μιλήσετε πιο πολύ αν και ακούς καλά και την μουσική μπορείς να καπνίσεις έχει καλό εξαερισμό μιας και τα παράθυρα είναι κλειστά λόγο ώρων κοινής ησυχίας είναι ζεστά έχει πολύ καλό φαγητό αν και πιστεύω ότι σε γενικές γραμμές δεν είναι και τόσο πολύ σε ποσότητα σε σχέση με τη τιμή τους η ποικιλία τους λίγο μικρή και γενικότερα και τα υπόλοιπα πιάτα τους είναι ανοιχτά καθημερινές και σαββατο και Κυριακή μέχρι τις 3 με 4 αν θυμάμαι καλά αν και όχι με απόλυτη σίγουρα μπορεί να κλείνει και λίγο πιο νωρίς και...
