We had a terrible experience and were served mediocre food. The salad was small and looked like they had opened and served us a grocery store mixed bag of greens and added some tomatoes. The local crushed pea dish was bland, the local sausages were poorly made (large and hard chunks) and served cold. The souvlaki meat was chewy and shockingly lacked flavour.

The worst part was the service and experience though. We were sat on the terrace and the large group that was there finished and started dancing in the street with an instructor. We had no idea this would happen, or else we would have sat inside. People kept bumping into us and the table making eating extremely awkward. One of the owners comes over seeing that we are uncomfortable and says that it's ok, it's no problem and just moves the table with everything on it while we were still sat down. It was so weird....

Lovely spot for a traditional dinner that feels special without being over the top or expensive. The service was very attentive and friendly. The veal in red sauce was the winner for me and we had lovely tzatziki and souvlaki, too. Finally, we got a free brownie dessert and some local spirit to do some after dinner shots, raki I can only assume. It was absolutely lovely and we would go back. If you can't finish the dinner, they have takeaway tupperware for you to take home. My only tip is that if you are going to order a dip, you say yes when they ask you if you want bread. It's 1.50€ per person but it's worth for the tzatziki, and they gave us 2...

LOVED!

I went here with my husband our first night in town (we were starving after being on a ferry all day) and were very impressed. Everything was amazing, our favorite was the sweet fried apaki 🤤🤌- we didn’t get a photo because we were too busy enjoying our food. I also really enjoyed the tzatziki and meze•meze salad. I would assume everything here is good though! Bottom line, the food was delish.

We also were able to try Raki for the first time and ended the meal with cake and ice cream. YUM. This restaurant felt so special to us and we feel so fortunate we were able to have our first meal in...

A really nice meze-restaurant, truly worth a visit, and located in the central Heraklion. We had 4 mezes, and 2 were truly homeruns (the vinegar pork [especially the bits with a bit of the fat on them] and oven cooked veal with cheese on top) and the other two were also good. The price was affordable, we paid about 32 euros for two people including the drinks we had, so about 16 € per head. The service was impeccable, both the young waiter and the man we believe was the owner were really awesome and made the night special, and the complementary dessert and raki was a really nice touch as well ^__^
