Hub cafe+lounge — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

Since moving to Heraklion six years ago, I've walked past this quaint cafe/lounge a hundred times at least. It's not necessarily an obscure eatery or something, but it is surrounded by pretty famous places around the Lion's Fountain. Anyway, boy was I glad I stopped in for breakfast the other day. Here's the scoop.

Chic without being pretentious, the cafe is a fantastic place for people watching and just taking life easy. And the omelet I ordered was perfect, and I mean perfect. Even the accompanying salad was a delight, and I never eat salad. Add a great cappuccino, professional (but not gushingly friendly) service, and I have to recommend this place with all the stars. In America we something say "there's nothing wrong with it," when a place or thing is really what we wanted.

If they were smart they would buy the cheapest paper cups on the market and designate them for lovely pets so they can keep their clientele in store and happy. Owning a business and selling it should be viewed smartly. Unfortunately they are deleting reviews, yet I hope this one stays! A positive smile with handing over the cheapest cup on planet earth would have changed everything and built a whole new level of bonding with clients that you are basically getting for free, from your neighbors. A great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! I visited this restaurant several times throughout my stay in Heraklion and the staff was always incredibly helpful!

The food is great, I personally recommend the omelette with feta and the pork steaks!
