Kafenio is a nice little tavern, known to locals for its food quality and decent prices. Located very conveniently right next to the bus hub makes it ideal for anyone stopping by and waiting for the next departure. It has some variety in options like keftedakia (meatballs), juicy chicken fillet or traditional spicy sausage. For drinks there is wine, beer, ouzo or tsipouro with meze. Also there are some fish options and vinegary octopus (that goes also great with ouzo). Also bottled water and bread come with the order (other places may not offer these). Ho deciso di provare questo ristorante attratto dalle ottime recensioni, anche se, a essere sincero, al mio arrivo ero piuttosto scettico: si trova infatti proprio dietro la pensilina di un autobus, e il primo impatto non era dei migliori. Tuttavia, mi sono dovuto ricredere completamente. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti a base di formaggio: la feta al forno è stata la più buona che abbia mai assaggiato da quando vengo in vacanza in Grecia. Come portate principali, abbiamo scelto le polpette di zucchine (che, pur non essendo un grande amante delle zucchine, ho trovato davvero gustose) e un petto di pollo marinato in una salsa deliziosa, accompagnato da verdure fresche (insalata, carote e cipolla). Anche i prezzi sono più che onesti. Consigliatissimo! L’unico piccolo appunto, a mio avviso il menù potrebbe offrire un po’...

Yerlilerin tercih ettiği bir yerde Kos'taki akşamımızı geçirmek istedik. Google üzerinden rezervasyon yapmıştık ve gerçekten de yerimiz hazırdı. Kalamar (10 Euro), dana ciğeri 6.5 Euro), cacık, salata, patlıcanlı meze aldık. Kalamar, ciğer ve cacık oldukça güzeldi. Ekmek maalesef kötüydü. İçecek olarak ballı şarap tercih ettim, benim için biraz fazla tatlıydı. Sıcak servis edilmişti ( sıcakta tercih edilmeyebilir) ama miktarı oldukça fazlaydı. Biz her zaman aceleci olduğumuz için servis yavaş gelebilir. Oradaki yerellerse yemeğin tadını çıkartıyordu, bu onlar için belli ki bir zevk:) Müziğe denk gelemediğim için çok üzgünüm. Sanıyorum cumartesi günleri burada müzik var. Bu kültürünü de görmeyi isterdim. Hesap ile beraber getirdikleri küçük tatlı ikram harikaydı. Fiyatlar makul, menüyü...
