We came here because it’s one of the few places in Kos town to offer veggie gyros but sadly we left feeling pretty disappointed with the food and €55 out of pocket. We ordered hummus and pitta - the hummus was probably the best part of the whole meal. For our mains we ordered a mixed gyros, a vegan gyros and a rocket salad. What arrived was a plate of shredded meat lacking flavour - and weird battered, shredded vegan meat substitute which tasted awful - chips and some shredded cabbage and carrot with no dressing. The menu said it came with pita but none came with it. When our salad didn’t arrive, I asked the waiter who then rushed it through and we were given the wrong salad, covered in feta and capers which I don’t like (which is why I didn’t order that one in the first place). I had one mouthful of lettuce. When they cleared our (quite full) plates, we mentioned that we thought our food wasn’t quite right but nothing was done, we were still asked if we wanted to leave a tip and offered a free shot of limoncello which we declined. Atmosphere of the square was nice but there are much better places to eat...

Very cheerful staff. The friendliness of the waiter had gotten us to choose for that terrace and take a seat there on the Eleftherias square with view on the Mosque, which I believe is currently closed for repairs. They have a very large variety of cocktails which made it hard to choose :) at regular prices so they took no special advantage of their favorable location. The cocktails were very tasteful so we really enjoyed them. The toilet on the other hand […] which was regretful so might need some attention. For a place that is also serving food, it might be a representation of the overall hygiene as per tourist’s cultural understanding. Also the menu card is sticky and the printed paper inside the plastic pages quite crumpled. But the quality of the drinks, offered with nuts, popcorn and the smile on the waiter’s face...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We ate here for the third time. Once for lunch and twice for dinner. Lunch and the first dinner were a succes. The first dinner was a success because they are one of the few places that offer a vegetarian gyros. This time we ordered the steak and the calamari. Sadly we had to wait more than an hour for our food. At 19.22 i asked our sever when we would get out food, because we ordered more then 45 minutes ago. At 19.33 we got our food, undercooked. Some pieces of my calamari were still raw, same with the fries. It was noticeable that they forgot out order and rushed to make it. My boyfriend got the steak, he said it was okay but tasteless. He ordered the steak medium rare but it was well done. Nothing got comped and only after we got our food after an hour we got a...

During my vacation in Kos,my travelbuddy took me to cocktail restaurant KousKous, and it quickly became my favorite spot to spend the evening! The variety of cocktails is incredible, and I tried a different one every day – never once being disappointed. The flavors were always perfectly balanced, the presentation was stunning (thank you for the fireworks :-)), and you could really tell the cocktails were made with a lot of craftsmanship. The restaurant has very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They also give great recommendations if you can’t decide (which happened to me every night!). KousKous is the perfect place to enjoy delicious cocktails in a beautiful setting. If you’re in Kos, this is a must-visit – I’ll definitely be coming back!
