I have been to hundreds of bars in my life and have never felt so blatantly disrespected. This bar is racist against white men. Period. It's despicable. Upon entering (mind you after paying a whopping 330 euro for a table), my entire group walks in with bottles of water. One Indian male, one Hispanic male, me, and 3 white women. Bartender #1 proceeds to single me out and take my bottle. Ok, not a great start, but we still have 5 bottles of water. Get to the table. I take one of the other bottles of water and start to drink it. Bartender #2 comes and takes it out of my hands. While, at the same time, one of my white female friends is sipping away. Abhorrent. Management - give your bartenders some unconscious bias training because this was utterly appalling. I ended up sneaking to the bathroom just to have some water. Oh and on top of all that, 2 hours later after I leave (not that I wanted to stay that long, but friends were there, you know), bartender #1 gives me a forceful side bump, which then causes my 6 foot 5 inch tall head to hit the door ceiling on the way out. For all other races and genders this bar in fairness is pretty good. But if you are a white...

Extremely overpriced place with rude and uninterested waiters, would actually go as far as saying that there was no service. Location is beautiful though.

We ordered 8 beers for the 4 of us and a single flavour hookah at the price tag of 70 euro, but were charged 90 euro for it, because the staff had decided to mix in an extra flavour. Upon trying to get in contact with the hookah guy about the mistake on the bill, which was delivered at the table earlier on, we found him to quite invisible hiding inside and talking to his colleagues instead of being observant of the guests. When we finally tried to explain the waiter in the end that we had ordered a one flavour hookah, we were just told that we had looked at the bill and that they saw this as an accept of the wrong price, despite that they had served us something different. The “Moulin Rouge” of Mykonos if you are in for a scam.

NOT...

Please note this happened during August 2023 season. I have been abroad with limited wifi so could only do this now. Read the reviews on Tripadvisor! Half the reviews here are for Little Venice and not the bar itself. I have travelled the world solo and this was one of the worst bars ever. It was also the first time in my life, that I had my drink spiked. Staff were rude and unfriendly. Tables were dirty. Has a nice view but that is it. I ordered a soft drink which was very expensive. I had a few sips and started to feel ill and drowsy. Luckily I made it back to my hotel where I passed out for a few hours. Read Tripadvisor reviews as others have had a similar experience. Writing this to warn other travellers. Most of the 5 star reviews here are not even for the bar itself or they come from Greeks who are probably friends...

Mykonos is quite the looker and there are some beautiful little streets and lanes in the old town. But nonetheless Little Venice was a bit disappointing. Firstly, it's quite a small and compact area. Many restaurants lining up. Yes, with great views. But food-wise forgettable. For a drink maybe, but you pay for the view. But even being oceanfront it didn't wow me. There are lots of beautiful spots on this planet located in front of the ocean, so this one didn't seem special enough. I was more excited about the little streets in the back. Like Santorini, Mykonos is a tourist magnet. But Santorini just has the bigger wow-factor (and has quiet spots if you walk a bit). Yes, the Old Town is nice, but as such, just Little Venice doesn't offer enough. It's worth a visit, but nothing I would run back to next time.

Little Venice - rows of fishing houses line the waterfront with their balconies hanging over the sea. The first of these was constructed in the mid-18th century. They originally belonged to rich merchants or captains and the little basement doors that provided direct access to the sea and underground storage areas led people to believe that the owners were secretly pirates. Some of the houses have now been converted into bars and cafes and little shops and galleries. Little Venice is considered one of the most romantic spots on the island and many people gather there to watch the sunset. The area attracts many artists who come to paint the picturesque coastline. Not giving 5 stars because everything is expensive over there.
