Noa Verde Nafplio — Restaurant in Municipality of Nafplio

I was pleasantly surprised that our tour company booked us dinner at this fantastic waterfront restaurant along the promenade. So we dined on the delicious salads watching the glorious sunset and finished the delectable desserts admiring the illuminated Bourtzi castle off shore. The chocolate cake was the best I had ever tasted. It was very moist and covered with dark chocolate sauce (a little bitter) and fenced by a ring of raspberry(?) mouss and accompanied by a single scoop of vanilla ice cream. We loved the Chicken Ballotine too: chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto sitting atop a generous mount of deliciously earthly mushroom puree, with some mildly sweet cauliflower puree on the side. The chef was generous with saffron for our Shrimp Risotto dish too. This restaurant was a great change from the typical tavernas we had been going to for the last 8 days in Athens and Santorini. The price range is reasonable and comparable to other tavernas in town. The food is as good as the view!

I got off the coach and walked around for 30 minutes, the scenery was amazing and so very hot so I needed a place to relax and have some refreshments. I chose this place because the staff looked incredibly smiley and they had massive fans outside. I ordered a chicken club sandwich with chips, fanta and two bottles of water. I was so hungry and thirsty I felt like I could eat anything but the food was nice, it was truly a gift from the gods. The scenery was amazing as well, I stayed an extra 30 minutes just taking in the scenes. The staff were lovely and friendly towards me, which was nice. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come...

Beautiful view. I made reservations for 9pm it wasn't busy. Extremely disappointed in the food, The appetizer had shrimp, which was not clearly not cleaned, and gritty. I had the seafood ravioli, which was told it was made daily. It was dry and stiff, the stuffing which included shrimp again, was not cleaned and prepared correctly. The server asked me was everything okay (because clearly I did not enjoy it) made no attempt to fix the issue. However if you want the Beautiful scenery and a drink I would suggest it.
