Ο Φώτης — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We are on the island of Naxos, staying at apartments O' Fotis.Great position in front of the beach.Our balcony is fantastic, there's a.pleasant breeze from.the sea with a beautiful view. We did not even need to switch on air conditioner and it's the second day of August thanks to the pleasant breeze.The room is clean, and spacious. There's a big living room with a little kitchen on the corner. Then tea heater and a fridge.Very comfortable. It's the center of Agios Prokopios so you can walk to every restaurant, to the beach, the market.etc GEORGIA is a our host she is so so funny ...polite, professional we simply love her. They also have a family Tavern in front, where we go almost every day to enjoy delicious Greek cuisine, and grill with charcoal. Delicious fresh salads, meanwhile we can see the sunset on the see from.the table. All of them are very kind people. Prices are very honest in comparison to the standards of this place. Had a terrible night at the hotel!! When we came into our room we noticed, after we made our own beds, that there where bloodstains on the sheets. The moment we wanted to go somewhere to eat and take a shower, there was little to no water to shower with. After a lovely dinner at another place, we came at fotis and went to bed. After an hour we noticed a loud noise coming from the roof, something like a electricity cable was going up and down right above our head. We couldn’t close an eye for the night because of the loud noise. We came down to talk to the owner, to say that we think it is not normal to ask 100 euro(!!) for this room. The only thing we can recommend with this restaurant it’s the view. We have been at Naxos for almost 10 days and this was the worst place of them all.

We order water we didn’t get. A mediocre salat together with pork meat that had very low quality, not done in the grill and the meat tasted nothing.

They put bread on the table but we had to ask for the olive oil and we got one small package for two persons.

We were served by a woman who had no service mind and no interest in the guest.

It seams like a small romantic Greek place by the sea but we recommend you to just pass it and find some other place to eat...
