Εστιατόριο Κόκκινος — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

Descent food, the place is at a nice spot in the city of Rethymnon, however the waitress that took the order (a plate, a souvlaki and a salad) forgot the salad and brought the wrong souvlaki. When we explained that she did a mistake she said that she is happy to bring another souvlaki according to our original order, however we had to pay for the wrong order. We cancelled the salad and just kept the wrong souvlaki. Of course, it’s not about the 2 euros (this is not even the tip that we normally leave on the table), but about the really unacceptable attitude and service. I would like to believe that this was just an isolated incident and ger attitude does not represent the restaurant. We had the absolute worst experience at this restaurant a few days ago during our vacation on Crete! To begin with it took longer than half an hour to get the food. One person in our company ordered a chicken schnitzel which came first before the rest of the food. Not only that, the schnitzel was so dry, there was no sauce, no salad but just rice. Then maybe more than fifteen minutes after that, all the sauces came along with the rest of the food. The beef steak that we also ordered was uneatable like a shoe sole, it was nearly impossible to cut through. Maybe some sharper knives wouldn't be such a bad idea to include when eating meat??? I wonder if the real chef was on vacation or something. I've been traveling a lot but I've never been so unsatisfied at a restaurant before and i would definitely not recommend this...

We came for dinner but this place was a bad choice for that. 4 people only got 2 menus to see, even though the waiter told everyone to bring their own. It was hard to get the attention of the waiters. Everyone else got the food at a different time, so it was boring to watch when one ate and the others watched! some of the dishes are big for the price and some are really small. The offers of the day, i.e. recommendations, especially small portions, but the price was also affordable. The food was tasty and good and points for that. Otherwise, the place is more fast food than designed for dinner or a shared lunch. Second time here was little bit better…. Still this is fast food restaurant 🙏 Because I got wrong pizza what I ordered they fix their mistake...
