Recep Paşa Camii. Kapısının üzerindeki kitabeden Recep Paşa tarafından hicri 996'da (1587-88) yaptırıldığı yazar. Fakat o tarihte yaşayan bir Recep Paşa olabileceği varsayımı pek kabul görmemekte; çünkü Bosnalı Recep Paşa hicri 1033'te (1624) Kaptan Paşa olduğundan 37 yıl öncesinde cami yaptıracak kadar servet ve mevki/güç sahibi olduğuna dair bir bilgi yok. Kaldı ki, bu caminin iç tezniyatı (dekor ve süslemeleri), İbrahim Paşa Camiinin Camii'nin tezniyatindan daha değerliymiş. 2013'te yıkılmak üzereyken DHA nin yaptığı haber Türk basınında yer alınca AB fonlarıyla restorasyona alınmış, yine 2018 mart ayında DHA tarafından servis edilen haberde restorasyonda sona yaklaşiliyormuş.

Мечеть Реджеп Паши (1588 год). Считается одной из красивейших и второй по значимости мечетью острова. Странно, я вижу руины на реконструкции... А вот особенность мечети в том, что ее стены были сооружены из остатков православных церквей, которые были разрушены при захвате острова турецкой армией. Интересен фонтан, переделанный из византийского. И здесь находится усыпальница самого паши.

Recep Paşa Camii 1588 yılında IV. Murad dönemi sadrazamlarından Recep Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Cami eski şehrin Turk mahallesinin tam ortasındaki meydanda bulunmaktadır. Tek minareli caminin üstü dört sütunun taşıdığı bir büyük kubbe ile örtülmüştür. Bahçesinde bir şadırvan bulunduruyor. Son cemaat yeri iki kubbelidir. Cami klasik Türk mimari tarzında inşa edilmiştir.

Rodos'un en güzel camilerinden olup, Recep Paşa tarafından Türk Mahallesi'nin ortasında, büyük çınar ağacının gölgelediği bir meydana 1588'de inşa ettirilmiştir. Caminin şadırvanı yerli taştan yapılmış, sekiz kolon tarafından tutulan bir kubbe ile örtülmüştür. Camiye girerken sağ tarafta bulunan minarenin silindirik gövdesi de yenidir. Camii, 25 yılı aşkın bir süre kapalı tutulduktan sonra iki kubbesi, 2011 yılı aralık ayında bakımsızlık ve bürokratik engellerden dolayı yıkılmıştır. Ana kubbeyi taşıyan dört sütundan ikisi yıkılmış ve kubbenin ana giriş tarafında büyük bir hasar meydana gelmiştir. Restorasyon çalışmaları Türkiye'nin de katkılarıyla devam etmektedir. Camii...
