Christof Modern Mediterranean Cuisine — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Me and my boyfriend left speechless from Christof's restaurant. We were taken care of the owner himself, who so generously offered his time and energy to share with us his story, dreams, and passions. By the time the dessert arrived, we were sitting with him at one table, sharing not only a drink but also a genuine connection. He is truly a man with a vision and it shows. I won't be surprised if his restaurant gets a michelin star and Christof gets his own "Chef's table" episode on Netflix :)

We've spotted this romantic, cozy terrace with white curtains from another restaurant in Lindos and challenged ourselves to find which restaurant it was. When we found it, the menu suggested a modern take on the Mediterranean cuisine, which I was initially sceptical of - we came to Greece to experience authentic food and I was afraid of the "form above substance" dishes.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

The dishes were created by a renowned chef. While paying tribute to the excellent Mediterranean ingredients and traditional tastes combinations, they were surprising and very creative. It was a true experience - this is what fine dining should feel like. It was so good that I forgot to take pictures (and I'm a millennial :))

The Seafood Ceviche, Beef Cheeks, and the modern take on the Greek dessert with cheese and Kataifi dough were all to die for.

This is a must-visit for couples or intimate groups. We felt very blessed to have stumbled upon this restaurant. Don't leave Lindos...

Very good food, good lounge music, nice view, POOR SERVING (rude and done by children). Unfortunately, I have made the mistake to chose this restaurant twice in 3 days and to recomend it to my family visiting Rhodes. We were celebrating the birthday of someone in the family. First time we were only 2 persons, second time we were 10 persons. We have made a reservation for the second visit and, after being all cornered into a narrow space bearly being able to eat, we received the food with a big delay between appetizers and main courses then, Mr Christof asked "who is the celebrated person?" And then, no, there wasnt any welcoming present or small thing offered as you could imagine, but an invitation to leave the space earlier because they had another reservation. The dinner didnt take longer than 3 hours, still, they were asking us to leave although the bill was more than 700 euros. Then, they have this rude habit to ask and insist about where are you coming from just to label you and to treat you differently. We will never visit this restaurant again. This is one of the many examples of how the Greeks are just after the money without giving any honest importance of how the clients...

Christof's like Cesar's Maze Bar offer a fine dining experience in the heart of Lindos, but in their own special way. And I accentuate special, as it very much is. Christof's is a cosy atmosphere catering to 1 to 4 seated guests per table, and capacity is limited. The lovely lady that greeted me and provides the table service along with Christof was amazing. This is very much a family business, with all members working, or at, the restaurant. Christof himself is an absolute gentleman and gentle soul. So, I had an amazing Greek Ceviche for a starter, then Pluma Iberico, which was a fantastic cut of pork neck served with an apple puree and peanut butter. Spectacular. For dessert, on the recommendation of my fabulous server, I had a special profiterole, which was out of this world.
