It took a while until we found a decent fish restaurant on Rhodes and this one did not disappoint for sure! The view, the food and most importantly: the service! We arrived at the restaurant and first had the feeling we were not welcome. In such moments we usually walk off but soon we were greeted by a lovely waitress who took an amazing care of us during the entire evening. She was pleasantly chatty, had a drink with us too and ordered a taxi for us plus organized face masks because we forgot ours. If it wasn’t for her, the experience would only be half as pleasant although the food and wine we had were amazing. A small shout-out to her boss (who actually might be her husband but we’re not too sure about that): learn 3 words: ‚hello’, ‚thanks‘ and ‚goodbye‘. And oh yes: make sure this lady stays as long as possible with you and your restaurant since without her, your place is...
Read moreThe setting is beautiful, especially at sunset, but the food was merely ‘alright’ at best. The waiting staff were rude, hostile, and uninterested from the minute we walked in. We were there to celebrate a birthday and couldn’t wait to leave. Felt like an inconvenience asking to see the daily fish and Calamari was chewy and difficult to eat. When we asked for a bill, they didn’t provide us with a receipt, but just brought across the card machine and stated the amount, we had to ask for a receipt which was treated as an inconvenience and the waiter rolled their eyes at us. We have been informed by our hotel that a printed receipt is a legal requirement, which this restaurant clearly has an issue with. The worst experience from our week in Greece, I’d rather get room service and...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made it clear we didn’t meet their expectations for clientele—possibly because we came with our 4-year-old. Despite having a reservation, we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the evening.
Service was cold and unhelpful. Our waitress couldn’t explain the dishes, so we stuck to ordering basics. The grilled octopus arrived carbonised and bitter, while the calamari was rubbery and overcooked. Starters were nicely plated, but probably canned goods.
Only highlight was the Greek salad, which earns the lone star. Otherwise, a thoroughly disappointing experience we won’t...
