18/8/24 Visited this family restaurant again!! A table outside with a wonderful sunset view. The vine tomatoes and local pitta were amazing. The linguine vongole is definitely one of the best in all my years of travelling to Italy, Greece, UK and the USA!!! I asked the chef how he achieved the perfect flavour balance!! The UMAMI was incredible. The family really cares and has passion, pride and professionalism. The restaurant itself is well appointed with background gentle music adding to the ambience. This family restaurant continues to attract business and pleasure dinners! Why? The quality of the home baked meat, fish and vegetarian options is amazing!! Amazing flavour, value and service. As a foodie I take great delight in finding amazing restaurants around the world. My experience started as I walked through the door. The nautical theme was spot on since I could see the masts and boats bobbing just outside the expansive windows. The high ceilings with beams and exposed stone lent an air of history that any trip to Rhodes should have. We were greeted with a smile and warmly welcomed to sit in the elegant dining room. The menu was concise and clear, the cuisine authentically Greek, the service impeccable, despite it being packed. Our meals were delivered piping hot and they were outstanding. Texture, taste, and visual appeal were expertly delivered and the prices were very reasonable. Being of Greek descent I have travelled all over the Greek mainland & the islands and eaten in hundreds of tavernas across Greece. We were spending 6 days on Rodos. We found this place as it was just around the corner from our accommodation. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. There is a daily menu and a good selection of choices. We generally never go back to the same place twice as there are so many different restaurants to choose from, but the food & service was so good we went back a second time for our last night before returning home to Wales.
