I was just tired of tourist restaurants. So I just opened Google and saw that this restaurant has 5 star rating, so I decided to visit it and give it a try. First we were welcomed very warmly and the restaurant by itself does not look very fancy but rather authentic and welcoming . The food was surprisingly lovely and so delicious that we kept saying it with every bite. The service is also so good and we started to talk with the women who served us the food and it turned out that it is a family business and the whole family works here and she was the owner of this restaurant with her husband who cooks. What a lovey place with lovely people and the most important thing with indescribable delicious food. 100% authentic and fresh. Iwill come back for sure and I warmly recommend this place to anyone who visits Rhodos. Btw, I am writing this review while still sitting in the restaurant and I ate more then you see on the picture that I have posted. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Update: Well, we came back tonight to the restaurant because we are leaving Rhodos tomorrow. This time we decided to make a reservation to get sure we get a table :). When we arrived all the tables were full except ours, so it was a good decision to make a reservation. They realized us and welcomed us very warmly. We got pide bread and Tzatziki and olives and a fried roll with cheese 🧀 inside for the appetizer. It was so delicious 😋 again and again and again. For the main dish I got a stew, actually it was a vegetarian dish but the lady asked the chef if it was possible to add tender beef to it based on my request and the chef gave green light. We also had Pastitsio wich was also lovely. The wine was also a strong one and we loved it. We got a tomato soup which was also very tasty. We also became a dish of fruits as the dessert which we did not order and it was on the house :). We also had some time to talk with the owners (the lady and the chef) and socializing a bit. In general, we were absolutely happy to have our last dinner here and enjoyed everything. Such a lovely family with big dreams and respect and full of humanity ❤️. My favorite place in Rhodos and please try the traditional dishes and the cheese roll with honey. PS: we love your food but more importantly we love you as the family and human beings...
Read moreWhat an outstanding little restaurant! I booked a table via the chat option on Google maps and used Google translate to write my message, the restaurant replied within the hour and we were booked for the same evening. We arrived and the lady promptly sat us down and brought our drinks. We opted for the tasting menu for 2 - this was a first for us as I can be quite fussy but WOW! The meals came out so quickly and every dish was stunning! The lady explained every dish to us of how they were made, best dips to accompany the dish and what meat/veg was included in the meals. We started with potato soup (delicious) accompanied with home made bread which was on the house, a Greek salad with dips/olives and then a selection of the starters from the menu. For our mains we had different dishes which included chicken, beef, pork and a huge stuffed tomato with beef mince. We ended with chocolate cake/orange cake and fruits. Every meal was delicious and we cleared our plates. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and we could hear every table commenting on how good the food was. This is a must try if you’re in Rhodes! I really recommend the taster menu but we will definitely be back to try other meals on the menu! Thank you...
Read moreWe were recommended this amazing restaurant by someone at our hotel and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is family run by a couple that make your visit feel very personal, they speak to you about the food, the local area and are genuinely such lovely people. The food is absolutely delicious, we had Giouvetsi which is a traditional Greek dish served in a clay pot with chunks of tender beef, a tomato sauce and small pieces of pasta. To start we received a basket of toasted bread and a dip platter, when we payed received a large shot of Ouzo.. both on the house. The restaurant itself is lovely, it has a romantic rustic feel with new furniture and candle lighting. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, the food is simply delicious and the house wine was very tasty, all for such a low price. The menu offers a wide variety of appetisers, salads, lunch, traditional Greek food, pasta dishes and main courses, again all at very low prices. They also offer a meze menu so you can experience traditional Greek cuisine for €34 per couple. Thank you Oniro art meze for...
