First, let me say, I live near a Lebanese community in the US. I have been to Lebanese restaurants hundreds of times. This is NOT Lebanese food. This more like a twisted money making establishment.
Food: this is the first and probably last Lebanese good that doesn’t serve plates with rice (traditionally cooked) and grilled vegetables. I asked my Lebanese friends and they all agreed, this is just a sin. This establishment had no rice. The bread…okay…if you have been to ANY Lebanese establishment, the bread was probably the one thing that stuck in your mind. This place had NO such bread.
Service: as soon as we sat down, the waiter, which I am assuming was some kind of owner informed us that the credit card machine didn’t work…really? Color me skeptic on this one. You are in Rhodes, one of the most tourist locations and almost all tourist will reach for a credit card before they reach for cash. We ate and we ordered a big platter with everything. We asked for the check and the waiter/owner came back with not a paper receipt (not even a hand written one), but a number…147. Now, I know when someone is swindling me. I had a menu. I saw the prices, this was clearly above what we ordered. I asked the waiter/owner for an itemized receipt. The server/owners went to the counter and started writing, I could see him from my table. The man was struggling to make the math add up. Writing, searching, rewriting, and maybe ten minutes later he came back with a hand written receipt with items above the price on the menu. In fact, the “check” was now 161.90. Mind you, there is no tax breakdown, no name, nothing. I have included the picture I took.
At this point, late on a Sunday evening, I figured, it was best to just pay this “check” and walk away. The waiter/owner had the courage to ask me, “is everything good?” To which my response was clear: “No, but I am paying this check and I am going away.”
The takeaway here is simple, this is an unprofessional restaurant. Even the most mom and pop place in Rhodes had receipts, written by a machine, with details. Even if the credit card machine didn’t work and they were clearly out to make...

Don’t waste your time searching for other options – if you want authentic Lebanese food in Rhodes, this is the place to be!
The restaurant is in a beautiful street full of joy and love – just like the owners themselves. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and perfect, and everything feels authentic from the first moment.
What makes it even more special is the open kitchen, where you can watch how the food is freshly prepared – and you can see how clean and professional everything is.
I have gluten and lactose intolerance, and the owners were incredibly kind and patient. They explained all the dishes, gave me the best recommendations, and made sure I felt completely safe. For vegans and vegetarians, there are also many amazing options!
We ordered mezze, and it was absolutely delicious – exactly how it should be. We had Tabbouleh – fresh chopped parsley with tomatoes, bursting with lemon and olive oil. The Baba Ghanouj – smoky grilled eggplants with garlic and tomatoes on top – incredible flavor!! And the Fattoush – a traditional Lebanese salad with crispy fried bread. I couldn’t resist and had to try it all!
If you can’t decide, go for the mixed grilled plate – it’s ideal for sharing. The chicken and beef skewers were so tender, perfectly seasoned, and with the bread and Muhammara you can create your own little sandwiches. My partner loved it so much!
The value for money is excellent. We are both big eaters – and we left happy and full.
Much love ❤️ See you soon & keep...
Read moreI went to Mezza Lebanese Cuisine twice — and I would gladly do it again. Again and again. Because once is never enough when food touches the soul like this.
Walking into Mezza felt like entering a scene from a beautiful film — warm lights, the scent of sizzling meat, the sound of soft um kulthome music floating through the air. But the real show began when the food arrived.
The mixed grill? Pure magic. The lamb and chicken were grilled to absolute perfection — smoky, tender, and marinated so deeply the flavor seemed to live in the very center of the meat. The chicken was juicy with a golden edge, while the lamb kofta was bold, earthy, and full of heart.
The thom (garlic sauce) was unlike anything I’ve tasted before — creamy, sharp, airy. Not just a side, but an experience. I could honestly eat it by the spoonful.
Then came the muhammara — the star of the night. Smoky, rich, and slightly sweet with a pomegranate twist, it danced between boldness and elegance with every bite. A true masterpiece.
The vibe? Like visiting a Lebanese home — cozy, welcoming, and filled with joy. The service was beyond excellent: warm smiles, fast, and from the heart. You’re not just served here. You’re embraced.
