Bulldogs & the Beast — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

This establishment has pretty much taken over the pavement with their tables and chairs. Not just the area that belongs to the premises but they have expanded into the pedestrian area, which they use overnight as their storage space: their chairs, their tables, their umbrellas etc, are permanently left out leaving a tiny bit of space for pedestrians to pass.

Not only that, but their outdoor furniture is also not fastened in the strong wind. One of their umbrellas fell on me in this wind as I was walking past on the way to work and knocked me down on to the pavement. Thank goodness some passers-by tried to help me but the staff of this pub were the last ones to show up. I asked them for some surgical spirit to wash my grazes but they took their time bringing it. You see that they really don't care. After the fourth time I asked them the surgical spirit arrived with the cotton wool and the girl was quick to disappear because she has more important things to do.

They really think that they are something special and full of entitlement. They say that they supposedly have licence to take over the pavement. Not sure as to their excuse for the lack of health and safety.

Obviously, I don't intend to give them any business and will be calling the local council to make a complaint against them. Also the police,...

Overall an amazing experience. Unlike some other Greek pubs/restaurants, the service was very fast (granted the pub wasn't crowded at that time).

The girl serving us was really attentive and at the same time unobtrusive. She made sure that we have everything we need, without being overly invasive.

Great place to hung around with high quality of service as well as unique and intresting choices on food,drinks and beers. Truly a Pub worth visiting in Thessaloniki with amazing vibes, people and music. The only reason I didn't put 5 Stars was because I found the music to be a bit too loud which made it particularly difficult to communicate even with people sitting...
