Memorable Dining Experience at Clochard
As a Greek-born individual living in London for the past 22 years I recently had the chance to visit Thessaloniki. After a long time away, I couldn’t have chosen a better place to relive those cherished memories than Clochard.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our knowledgeable waitress, Athena, and attentive waiter, Vasilis, guided us through the menu, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The senior management team, with their impeccable service and attention to detail, added to the overall ambiance.
The food was simply divine. The cold and warm starters was a refreshing burst of flavors, while the main courses were cooked to perfection. And for dessert, was a decadent indulgence. The champagne selection was equally impressive, with a wide range of options to suit every taste.
Clochard’s elegant ambiance is perfect for any occasion. The soft lighting and ambient music create a serene and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a memorable dinner with a loved one or a business gathering.
Whether you’re a fellow Greek or simply a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, Clochard is a must-visit.
Clochard Team, thank you for making our night so memorable. We hope to see you again soon!

With its elegant ambiance and impeccable service, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that resonates with both locals and visitors alike. My recent visit was nothing short of spectacular. Beginning with the fresh oysters, each shell encapsulated the pristine essence of the sea, offering a briny delicacy that awakened the palate. The octopus and cuttlefish dish followed, showcasing tender, perfectly grilled octopus accompanied by a medley of flavors that paid homage to Mediterranean traditions. The highlight, however, was the pasta alle vongole (I visited 2 days in a row just for this dish). Al dente pasta intertwined with succulent clams, all enveloped in a light, aromatic sauce that spoke volumes of the chef's mastery. Clochard's reputation is well-earned. Its commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients, combined with a menu that celebrates both local and international cuisines, ensures a dining experience that is both authentic and innovative. The staff's attentiveness and genuine hospitality further elevate the experience, making every guest feel valued...
Read moreI do not recommend this place. If I don’t have the habit of leaving gentile reviews, I will say “Avoid It.” I feel my experience was a waste of money and time. As a relatively posh restaurant, it has a high price. All at first I thought it was fine because you paid for the decor, for the vibe of a fine dining. Unfortunately, that meal was not fine at all. The main course was over salty, so I kept drinking water. The young receptionist was warm and welcoming, but the much senior waiter was inpatient and cold. I understand every one has a unique personality, and actually it’s quite rude to think people in the hospitality industry must keep smiling. However, I do felt uncomfortable when my waiter talked with me in manners as if he hoped to avoid the talk! And to be worse, you paid for a prepackaged meal and such an experience for a high price, a price two times higher than the average price for a lunch/dinner in Thessaloniki. I dined with a few well-to-do restaurants at the port, which were supposed to be expensive, and the bill was half of the money I paid for this one. If you would like to have a sip, the wine list is okay. But as to me, I will find somewhere else either for a formal dinner...
