On The Road — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

Yesterday I was at On The Road bar with my friend. Being always careful with my stuff, I was once in a while checking my bag to see if everything was fine. Suddenly, I realized that it was open and I started looking for my wallet. Of course, it was nowhere and I started looking for it in the bar, under my chair and at the next table. Meanwhile,I realized that there was a weird guy drinking alone at the table next to me. I asked him if accidentally my wallet happened to be in his jacket - he was shocked - and then pretended to “be looking for it” with me. I was sure he had taken it and I insisted asking him to give it to me until I saw it inside his jacket. I screamed and yelled and then the waitress came to see if everything was ok. She suggested calling the police but the supervisor, Christos, decided to let him go without even asking me if my money and cards were all in place. I wanted to call the police but he did not let me and he just told the drunk thief to go away. A lot of people told me that he may know the thief because this behavior was rather suspicious. There is no proof about that, but in any case his behavior was unprofessional and weird. To sum up, nobody helped me except for the kind waitress and nobody did anything for this super obvious theft. Walking along the front there's lots of bars you probably don't want to go to, you might miss this one as it's only got a few small tables outside, if you do find it you'll be glad. It's a great place to sit with a beer and watch the sun go down. Friendly people, a nice old school interior and way less dressed up than the other boujie bars along the front. Exactly...
