My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Alios Ilios during our stay at Santo Pure. The service and ambience were outstanding. We started with the bread box which was delightful. I had the Sea Bass which had perfectly crispy skin and a wonderful turnip purée along with a cilantro coulis. She had the Fagotelli which was bursting with blue cheese flavor. We finished the meal with a very uniquely Deconstructed Baklava. We also had the Lemon Tart that remarkably had black truffles on it. I was not too sure about truffles in a dessert but I was pleasantly surprised. Erion did a fantastic job in all that he did. He gave wonderful recommendations on both dishes at the restaurant along with other restaurants to visit on the island and in Athens (our next destination). The kitchen was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and all the dishes were simply divine! Veal is a must try dish! Worth every single penny of it!!

The wine list was mixed with both local and international wine options, the wine by the glass has good selections as well.

It's amazing to have such high quality restaurant inside the hotel where we were staying, which was very rare in most occasions.

There's an outdoor garden area within the facility and I run into the chef who was literally picking the fresh herbs from the garden and using them to prepare the dishes. You can't get better than this right!

We had a reservation and clearly mentioned it was a special occasion, yet the hostess gave us the worst table in the house—right in front of the DJ booth.

We asked to be moved and had to wait 10 minutes standing, only to be placed at a table with a lovely view… of the bar. What’s surprising is that many better tables were either empty or taken by people who were just having water. We came dressed nicely, ready to enjoy a proper dinner, and were nothing but polite.

The food was good—I’d give it a 8/10. However, the wine was served in a rush and was warm. The ice bucket had only water, no ice.

At the end of the meal, the check was brought without us asking, and when the card machine came, it already had the 25% tip option pre-selected.
