I visited the iconic blue domes in Santorini during my visit to the island. We specifically made a visit to the domes in the morning to avoid the crowds that build up later on and we are grateful we got an opportunity to get up close to these lovely domes. The surrounding views are breathtakingly beautiful and have to been seen in person. We did not come back to see the sunset later as most tourists do as we had booked a cruise later that day.
My family and I later went on a semi-private catamaran on the Aegean Sea to watch the famous Santorini sunset with about 20-something other people where we got to know some of the other tourists. We met families from different places such as Toronto, Mumbai and a family visiting from Thailand (they didn't specify from where exactly). I love about traveling to different parts of the world to learn about new cultures; when I attend private (or semi-private) tours, I love interacting with the other attendees to learn about their backgrounds as well.
Traveling is one of the best forms of self-care and it is great to be able to visit places as picturesque as Santorini. In case you are wondering, the sunset in Santorini was just as lovely as everyone says it is - and that is a fact, not an opinion! ;-)

There is also nice market with lots of cafes and restaurants and souvenirs shops are here. The prices are little high as compared to other places in Santorini, so be careful and it’s little hard to find a place if you are looking to enjoy the sea view in a cafe. So, take a stroll and click snaps...

I sometimes imagined how Oia came to be, was it accidental discovery or the amazing work of an intentional community?
