Wow I was impressed with the appearance and greeting from the staff as we entered. Very kind, speaking English and attentive. We sat upstairs on the enclosed terrace, and they also had an open air terrace. While it was a hot sunny day, the fans in the terrace were effective and the beer was cold. The owner and server and chef were all very friendly and kind, understanding our conversation and making friendly chat and laughs. The salad was extremely fresh and delightful, meatballs equally so, the fries were delicious seasoned nicely and paired well with the meatball sauce. Prompt service and we never had to wait for anything. Clean place with a good sight of the water between buildings. On departure we were treated to some apertif digestif drink and warmly received and salutations when departing. Overall highly recommended. We had a choice between the three bells of fira or eating a lunch here before heading down the arial tram, and glad we did this as the final...
Read moreIf I could give this place over 5 stars I 100% would!! The service, the atmosphere, the food and overall vibe was just perfect. They went out of their way to accommodate us and put together a table as the terrace was packed and busy. Absolutely beautiful rooftop terrace, they were playing very fun, upbeat Greek music that made us feel the true authenticity of Greece. The food was genuinely some of the best, most flavourful Greek food I’ve ever tasted. The 4 of us split a meat platter for 2 which came with an abundance of food, tzatziki, pita, Greek salad and dolmades and everything was so incredibly delicious and so cheap for the sizes. They gave us a delicious complimentary ice cream dessert and a shot upon arriving/leaving. If you want some of the best of Greek hospitality and cuisine go to Kapilio. Thank you guys for everything, our experience was perfect and we will be returning next time we...
Read moreSmalll portions. Nice start with a complimentary shot at the door of local spirits. Had the seafood platter for two with white wine. Price was inflated above advertised on menu. 63 or 64 euros. Waiter insisted we order pita even though we weren’t interested, tying to upsell us. Bill came to 80 euros for an average experience. Listless waiters hung around us eyeing us like predatory vultures hoping to get an extravagant tip. Not impressed. Very few people here seemed to be doing more than pretending to have a good time here with the ambience lacking and jangly Greek music playing through a loudspeaker on repeat. Give this place a miss as it was the low point in our island hopping experience from Athens,...
