Boozery — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

We visited Santorini while on a cruise in September 2023 and it was so hot. We were waiting in line for the cable car and had been for two hours and this was after an already long day. We were hot, miserable and roasting in the sun. I stepped away from my travelling companions in search of refreshment and wow was I rewarded when I found this bar. I asked the bartender to recommend something frozen that was refreshing and not too sweet and he suggested Missionary's Downfall. I was hesitant because the ingredient list sounded like it was going to be icky sweet. Let me tell you, this was one of the BEST, most refreshing things I've ever tasted and it had just a hint of sweetness. It tasted fresh and natural. In the midst of a Fira with not the most exciting night life, Boozery was by far the best finding of the island. Whilst our group of six queer lads were frowned upon on several places, these guys were as welcoming as it can be, and they had by far the best cocktails in the neighbourhood. As a Brazilian myself, I can atest that their Caipirinha is fantastic, and some of the Mexican lads were very surprised to find a fantastic collection of good tequila there. Visited this little gem twice yesterday afternoon; once before, and then again after being on the cable car down to the old port. As it was such a warm afternoon we opted for Long Island Iced Teas all round (€8 each). These were served good and strong with plenty of ice, and they were very refreshing.
