I wanted to like this place and after reading all the positive reviews I thought it I would, but I didn’t have a great experience. We ordered the souvlaki combo with drink and French fries for 15 euros. While this place seems very reasonably priced, it doesn’t reflect in quality. The French fries were cold, hard, white and still raw potatoes. The souvlakis are quite small and left me (I don’t have a big appetite to begin with) hungry afterwards, even with the drink and sides. It definitely did not compare to other gyros that we have had all over Greece. The worst part of it though was one of the men who works there, with glasses. The other man working at the cashier was very charismatic, singing and friendly to customers. However he didn’t give me a ticket/receipt once I put my order through as he was talking to a customer/friend who arrived after me. I waited in line patiently for my souvlakis but the man with glasses cooking them was impatient and rude and tried to tell me that I hadn’t placed an order yet, when it was his colleagues mistake/being distracted that led me to not get a receipt for him to then make the souvlaki. When I tried to explain to him what happened he cut me off and asked if it was my turn, to which I said yes, given the people in front of me had just been served their food and had left the restaurant. However the friend/local who paid after me was then served by the main guy, and the guy with glasses said rudely “so it’s not your turn is it?” It’s a shame that he had this attitude, as it seems they prefer to serve friends first rather than being fair and acknowledging their mistake with the ordering system. If the food had been delicious I could’ve overlooked this interaction but unfortunately they failed on...

I had a really bad experience with the owner of this place. He was super sleazy and tried to distract everyone with music and dancing while taking orders. I purchased a €4.50 souvlaki and gave him €20 and didn't notice he only gave me €5.50 change!!

When I noticed his mistake and asked him about the correct change, he said he had a camera that could prove he did nothing wrong. But when I asked to see the footage, he just ignored me and went back to cutting meat and taking more orders. Instead of addressing my issue, he started bragging about how long he had been in business. I tried to get him to focus on the problem, but he just demanded to see my cash instead. I showed him the change he gave me.

After a lot of back and forth (his refusal to play security recording and attempts to ignore the issue), I told him I would call the police if he didn't show me the video and give me my money back immediately.

As soon as I mentioned the police, he quickly pulled out my €10 and handed it to me while telling me to "go cause more trouble to my husband."

Honestly, I’d say avoid this place. The owner is rude...

Certainly! 5-star review for Lucky's Souvlakis:

I had the pleasure of dining at Lucky's Souvlakis, and I can confidently say it's one of the best experiences I've had! The food is absolutely delicious—every bite bursts with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Greece. The souvlakis were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the freshness of the ingredients was undeniable.

What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredible staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The team at Lucky's Souvlakis is not only professional but also genuinely friendly, making us feel like valued guests.

If you're looking for a spot with amazing food and outstanding service, look no further than Lucky's Souvlakis. Highly recommended!

This review highlights both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, making it a well-rounded and...

There wasn’t a line up when we went to Lucky’s. My partner and I enjoyed our gyros from here. There was a good balance of chips, salad and meat. The pitta was soft and delicious. My partner thought the meat had a slight smoky flavour. For me it left a bit of an aftertaste but not sure what exactly. We are deducting 1 stars because the person serving us sold them to us for slightly more than advertised on their price board / menus. And he was serving people with a burning cigarette in between his fingers. Hardly anywhere to sit inside (too hot anyway). But there’s public seating across the road. Ordering tips: If you aren’t aware already, go inside to the back, pay for what you want, and keep your paper ticket / receipt. Then line up to see the chef and hand them your ticket/receipt and they will make your order on the spot.

My wife and I went here yesterday evening for a quick dinner and the food was good but not great. We both had pork gyros. The meat seemed dry unfortunately. They were both lacking tzatziki. You can see in the picture it looks like there was a lot but what you see there was all that was inside. Simply a miss but by asking for additional tzatziki at the cash when ordering would solve this. The service was rough around the edges but once we sat there for a bit they warmed up to us. Love how small and tight the location is and the ability to sit there and be in the action. They should have more bar stools there as I think more people would sit and stay. The location is very convenient on the main road for a quick grab and go meal.
