If you’re in Santorini and not eating at Pepito in Perissa, you’re seriously missing out. This is hands down one of the BEST souvlaki spots I've ever been to — not just in Santorini, but in all of Greece.
From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a smile and genuine warmth. The staff here are friendly, fast, and clearly take pride in what they do. The place is clean, laid-back, and has a chill local vibe — no tourist trap energy here. Just real, honest food that hits the spot.
Let’s talk souvlaki: perfectly grilled, tender, and seasoned to perfection. I tried both the pork and chicken — juicy, flavorful, and wrapped in pillowy soft pita with just the right amount of tzatziki, fresh tomatoes, onions, and crispy fries inside. Heaven in a bite!
We also ordered their saganaki and choriatiki, and both were absolute standouts. The saganaki was perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey inside—easily one of the best we’ve ever had. The choriatiki (Greek salad) was huge, super fresh, and bursting with flavour—ideal for sharing.
To top it off, we enjoyed a fresh-squeezed orange juice and chilled beer as the waves lapped just meters away.
Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxed dinner after the beach, this is a spot you’ll keep coming back to. We’re already planning our next visit before we even...
Read moreThe worst service for Greek people, they just want to service foreign tourists to get money. Extremely expensive prices, 5€ for a gyro.We(2 people) were waiting from 7:50 for one portion of fries and 2 gyros and at 8:10 came 2 group of tourists. They served 5-10 dishes to them at 8:15(five minutes after they arrived) and we had been waiting for 30 minutes for a portion of fries and 2 gyros! The portions were TOO SMALL, a 5-year old child could only get full out of them. They only served one beer and canned orange juice to us. I went inside and they did not even apologise. I told them that you intend to serve foreigners first because of the money and they didn’t say anything, only lied to us that your dishes are getting ready now. We left the shop as we wanted to catch the bus to Fira. FOREIGNERS AND GREEKS: THIS RESTAURANT IS A SCAM!!! DON’T EVER GO THERE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH SMALL PORTIONS AND WORST SERVICE. THIS “RESTAURANT”...
Read moreArrived to the restaurant. Had some lunch. Prices were more than fair. Food was nothing special. After eating we expected to use a sun bed and enjoy the rest of the afternoon while drinking a beer. Came straight from the restaurant to the sunbed one of the staff asked where were we going. We said we came from the restaurant. He promptly asked how much we had spent (15€) to which he promptly replied in a not so friendly tone " you have to spend 5 euros more for the sunbeds and 15 for the first row". The lack of soft skills and the worry of having us just sitting without spending any more money is just absurd. I would not mind to spend more 15 euros or what ever but the way we were treated I just went close to the shore layed down on my towel and enjoyed the view. Too bad the customer sometimes is not treated like so. Disappointed with...
