Noma Kuzina Mediterra Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

The food was okay, nothing special, a bit disappointed compared to other Greek restaurants we experienced in Athens and Santorini. And they have a mixed Italian/greek/fastfood style menu. What really annoys me was the rude waiter, we had lunch for 50 Euro and tipped him 4 as well, he didn't even say thank you (at least I didn't hear it and it was also weird that he came to collect the bill, yet a nice waitress served us mostly and we wanted to tip HER, not HIM) and then when I asked why a review 2 months ago saying the sunbeds are free for customers, he just said everyone had to pay 15 Euro (Seriously, in total we paid 69 euro for food/service during lunch time and we have to pay extra 15 for the sunbeds which are mostly free for customers in other restaurants) This is kinda ridiculous. Especially when I saw the owner even replied to someone who claims the sunbeds are free. I'm extremely suspicious if he tried to fool us. Very bad experience. By far the best restaurant in perissa. We’ve eaten here twice while visiting and both times we had the best meal and George is by far one of the nicest guys you could meet, We had everything from the fish and chips, to the popcorn shrimp, pizza and beef pasta and everything was delicious, Only problem was I couldn’t finish everything and they kindly boxed up the food for us to take home. Most of the other restaurants are serving very traditional Greek food and as much as we loved it, we enjoyed finding Noma for something a little more Mordem. Again thank you to all the staff and the amazing George. The food is only half of the overall 5* rating and the rest is solely due to a very strong member of staff. A must go, the eggplants appetizers are the most delightful things that you could put in your mouth of all the Perissas beach restaurants. Pizzas and pastas are full of flavors, all this will make your Santorini experience next extraordinary. The waiters are very very very kind.

Don’t hesitate and sit down trust me.

We came in just to try an appetizers and they brought us a slice of watermelon to close the dégustation on a sweet taste.
