While walking in Santorini, we were approached in the street by someone claiming to be from this restaurant. He was very convincing and assured us they had great food. Having been out all morning with our two young children, hungry and tired after a long day at the beach, we decided to give it a try. We ordered a pizza, grilled sardines, and some salads. After a long wait, the person who brought the food was not the one who invited us in, but another staff member who barely spoke English or Greek – which is surprising for a restaurant in one of the world’s most famous tourist destinations. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The sardines were uncleaned inside, which is completely unacceptable. When we complained to another waiter who spoke English and Greek, he refused to acknowledge any issue, saying, “This is how we serve it.” The pizza tasted odd, the cheese seemed spoiled, and the sauce had no flavor. Even the fries were soggy and unappetizing. Our children couldn’t eat anything, and we left still hungry. I normally don’t leave negative reviews for small mistakes, but the combination of poor quality, lack of hygiene, refusal to take responsibility, and the feeling that we had been lured in under false pretenses makes this the worst dining experience we have had. Hopefully, this review serves as a warning to others

We stumbled upon Pergola while we were walking along the beach area. We had checked out of our hotel but weren’t flying out until that night and were looking for a place to spend the day. One of the staff, Tarek, at the beachside part of the restaurant told us the umbrella/chair sets were free with food or drink purchase and included free WiFi - something I haven’t seen anywhere else in Greece! It also had showers to hose off the sand (something I also haven’t seen anywhere else) which is necessary before getting on 2 long flights later in the day! We had coffees at one of the many shaded tables and then later moved to a set of umbrella chairs to spend the afternoon. The waitress, Elsa, provided food and drink service on the beach and made us her special cocktail (not on the menu), the Billie Jean. Delicious! Later we moved back to the tables for a delicious lunch of Dakos salad (one of the best we’ve had!) and stuffed vegetable plate. Both were very good and reasonably priced. The staff could not have been nicer to us ALL day long! So friendly and accommodating and never made us feel like we had to leave. We were there from 11:00-18:30! Highly recommend!

When we came into perissa santorini restaurant staff were really kind, friendly and also very helpful always smiling and chatting to us which was the best experience part of our holiday. Manager Tarek and waitre hossin was extremely welcoming and happy to help us and advise on food, drinks aswell as what places we can visit. đŸšâ™„ïž As well as the food is 10/10 very delicious and well presented and bought on time. I definitely recommend for everyone to visit and try this restaurant out. I definitely will be coming back next year here again ♄

My experience has been very negative, I do not recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, their food is not of quality, having to wait more than an hour to be served is the usual, they make a mistake in the orders, the menu, it does not vary in weeks, if you are a foreigner and you do not understand when they do not have the dish you order they bring you another one without consulting, if you go with full board with the Veggera hotel, they discriminate against other customers who are capturing the day, the truth is that it is a shame that they treat the hotel customers so badly because it is bad publicity for the hotel itself and it certainly does not make you want to come back. It's not worth going like this, it's better to go eat somewhere else, before having to spend two hours every day losing two hours at each lunch and dinner leaves you in a bad taste, just because it takes more than an hour to serve you. With full board contracted, being subject to a menu for 8 days in a row, in which there are only three desserts and they never vary, nor do the rest of the dishes, undoubtedly detracts a lot from the attractiveness of taking the contracted full board, it is not worth it in the case of this restaurant, it is far from the advantage of the buffets in other places, Breakfast in this case is also buffet but very scarce and very based on pastries, jams, etc. If you go in the last stretch there is hardly anything left, the fruit is not vatian, every day it is always the same in the buffet. They need to improve the theme of the...
