Perfect beachside coffee stop at Kamari Beach! We stopped by Skaramagas for a quick drink at their walk-up coffee and smoothie bar right next to the restaurant and it was exactly what we needed before heading to the beach. We ordered Nescafé frappés, a super popular Greek iced coffee made from whipped instant espresso. I got mine with almond milk and my friend got one with ice cream — both were absolutely delicious and so refreshing in the heat! They also had a bunch of fresh juice and smoothie options that looked great. It’s the perfect little spot to grab something cold before relaxing by the water. The restaurant itself is right on the beach across from the water with classic Greek vibes, blue chairs and white tablecloths, and super picturesque. If you sit down and have lunch there, they’ll let you use their beach chairs and umbrellas free of charge, which is such a great perk and makes it easy to spend the whole afternoon by the water. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re spending the day at Kamari Beach. Great drinks, friendly service, and beautiful views.

The best meal and dining experience we've had during our week in santorini, so good we visited twice!! The food was incredible, authentic, and portions were generously sized and good value for money. We shared the mixed meat platter and mixed starter the first time, great for trying lots of Greek cuisine, and had a rib eye steak and lobster linguini the second. The owner helped us decide what would be best to order based on what we fancied, even when it was the cheaper option- this felt really genuine and he wanted us to truly enjoy our experience. We stayed for over 4 hours on our second visit having drinks because the atmosphere was so relaxing, also very good value cocktails! Thanks for making our trip to Santorini so rememberable, we won't forget the lobster!

For our last day in Greece we decided to spend the morning exploring Kamari a bit more and the endless beach strip. There are such a lot of restaurants to choose from and it's really difficult. What caught my eye on their menu was the poached eggs as that is what I was craving at the time. So I had the poached eggs, with salmon, hollandaise sauce and capers. It was soooo amazing, really really tasty. My hubby had a burger which looked really good too. The waiter was very friendly and even recognized our South African accents. You also get a free sunbed for the day when you eat with them which is standard for most restaurants on the strip. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

Where do I even begin with this so called "restaurant" establishment? It pains me to even write this review - for I am triggered by traumatic flashbacks - but I MUST warn visitors to avoid being scammed at this horrible place! My friends and I were enjoying our last night in Santorini, having experienced a pleasant vacation and wanting to end off our trip right. While strolling across the black sand beach, we were caught by a black board sign stating a happy hour promotion - 30% off all appetizers. The charming (but evil) waiter was quick to grab us from the street, show us the menu of eligible items and seat us by the water. This was where we made the mistake of getting baited too easily. We decided to share a platter of the traditional Greek appetizers. However, none of this (the dish was all sauces!) came with bread, and we were forced to pay an outrageous amount for cold, hard and dry bread to accompany our meal! Furthermore, our meal came nearly an hour after we ordered, despite being the only customers in the restaurant! It was presented in a nasty fashion, on a small, cramped plate with all the sauces blending together. We even realized that some of the dishes from the menu were missing. When confronting the owner, (we told him we did not have the eggplant ball, tomato ball or the spinach pies as stated on the menu), he just shrugged it off and said "That's strange, normally it's there". I understand that it is normally there, which is why I asked where it was as it clearly was not on our plate. No apologies, no compensation, he reluctantly went to the kitchen and tossed in a frozen spinach pie. After this horrible service with bland, unfilling and unsatisfying food, we wanted to get away and just leave. However, it took another 40 minutes just to flag down the waiters for the bill! Keep in mind, the restaurant was still empty at this time, and the untrained staff were just fooling around with one another. Now I understand why the restaurant was empty to begin with; stay AWAY! I cannot believe this disgusting place ruined what was such a...

Skaramagas Restaurant Review

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Skaramagas Restaurant in Kamari, and I must say, it was an experience I would rather forget. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The decor was outdated and lacked any charm, making it hard to get excited about the meal to come.

The service was another low point. Our waiter seemed disinterested and inattentive, taking far too long to take our order and even longer to serve our food. We felt neglected, as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. When our meals finally arrived, they were lukewarm at best, which is unacceptable for any dining experience.

As for the food, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the seafood pasta, hoping for a flavorful dish, but what I received was a bland, overcooked mess. The seafood was rubbery and lacked freshness, and the sauce tasted like it had come straight from a can. My dining companion’s grilled fish was similarly uninspired, lacking seasoning and served with a side of soggy vegetables.

The prices at Skaramagas are also hard to justify given the quality of the food and service. For the amount we paid, we expected a much better experience. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

Overall, I would not recommend Skaramagas Restaurant. There are far better dining options in Kamari that offer both delicious food and attentive service. Save your time and money and...

If I could could give this place 0 I would! The food was mediocre at best, £17 for four edible prawns yet we received six heads how does that work? Guessing it is to fill out the plate more!!! Not only was there very little food on the plate but was warm at best.

This was queried with our sever but was said is a dryer what do you expect, that should have been a red flag from there!

Mains came and they where okay but no where near as good as the food we had at the hook bar, summer time (which is next door and serve the best kelftiko on the island!) or the captains corner!

When we finally got the bill after having to go to the bar to ask as no one has come to see if our mains where okay or offer us another drink in over an hour! They all seemed to busy on their phone or flirting with each other.

After given the bill we queried how expensive it was compared to the food quality and service that we had received !

This fell on deaf ears and managed with a staff member who lacked eye contact with us and when asked for a manger the answer was they aren’t in today came up, awful excuse!

Not only do staff need training in service but in general manners as well.

This whole experience left me and my wife feeling completely ripped off and ruined our last evening in santorini.

I will not be recommending your restaurant to any friends or family and hope people reads reviews before attending!

Full rip off and not...
