Zotos Gelateria: A Must-Visit for Ice Cream Connoisseurs in Santorini!
We're a family of ice cream fanatics, and let me tell you, Zotos Gelateria in Fira absolutely blew us away! It's not just the best on the island, but honestly, it deserves its title as one of the top 3 gelaterias in all of Greece.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even let us try out most of the flavors before we made our choices (major bonus points!). This was fantastic because you could really taste the quality ingredients in each scoop.
Speaking of flavors, I have to single out the pistachio ice cream – it was pure perfection! Rich, nutty, and bursting with flavor. But honestly, every single flavor we tried was delicious. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients.
We also indulged in some of their other pastries, like baklava, and everything was just as amazing.
If you're in Fira, or anywhere on Santorini for that matter, Zotos Gelateria is an absolute must-visit. It's the perfect place to cool down on a hot day and treat yourself to some of the best ice cream you'll ever have.
For those with dietary restrictions, Zotos Gelateria has you covered! They offer gluten-free cones and vegan ice cream options, so everyone can enjoy their...
Read moreBest original ice-cream in town!! If you are visiting Fira, you definitly have to have an ice-cream at Zotos. Why? Not only for the quality of them ( delicious, not melting immediately, so you can enjoy it during your walk) but also because of the originality of their tastes. We strongly recommended "lava santorini" (dark coconut, precise name that perfectly matches with the location.) We live in Italy and are ice-cream lovers, and ice-cream original flavours lovers, so if you are like us, you cannot miss this opportunity and add this flavour in your tasting collection. They have several other original tastes like "greek baklava" or "vinsanto" (italian wine to drink with the desert during a meal). Besides, the sizes of the ice-cream are huge (compared with the ones in Italy, that in general are very small when they are good quality) and do not melt immediatelly, even if under 40 degrees as yesterday afternoon , so you can enjoy it for long. Prices are also very competitive: 1 flavour 3,50 and 2 flavours 5,50 euro, when in other ice-cream shops with flavours that are artificial, the 2 flavour ice-cream price is 7 euro. Perfect location, in the heart of Fira, near the wonderful sightseeing viewsof the Caldera. 10 stars to this...
Read moreWe were in Santorini for our honeymoon & went here one night after dinner where we were greeted by a lovely young lady, got our ice cream (divine) & paid with card. A few days later we went out of way to come back as we enjoyed the ice cream so much. It said they open at 9am so we arrived a few minutes after 9am. We were greeted by an older lady who shook her hands at us & said 10 minutes. We arrived back maybe 15 minutes later & observed two men being refused an order so we carried on waiting outside, but watched another 2 people being reserved in the mean time. We then went inside as our hotel is a bit away so we made the effort to come back here & it says 9am they open. The lady saw me & walked over with no communication from her. I ordered my ice cream & she put it on the counter & I said card please. She walked over to the card machine for not even 5 seconds & said it’s not working cash only. We had no cash only our phones & she stood there looking at me. So we ended up walking away with no ice cream. I’ve read reviews that people were also told no card yet the first night we paid with it & went out of our way to come back again. Highly disappointing experience with...
