My husband and I are in Greece for our honeymoon. We’ve been in Santorini for a couple of days, made sure to see the sunset at Oia and also wanted to see it in Fira. Volcano Blue came up on the recommended list and when we strolled by to see if they had a reservation, we were greeted by the kindest woman- Danae. I told her that I knew it was a stretch to find “sunset view” last minute but she showed us the option available for a table and it was perfect. When we arrived for our reservation, another couple had canceled theirs and Danae offered us their table on the terrace with the same, but almost better view of this amazing place and the Aegean Sea. The sunset was absolutely breath taking and our server, Angelo, did not rush us to order so we were able to take our time and enjoy the view. The food was absolutely delicious; the salmon filet was cooked perfectly, wine selection was wonderful and my husband enjoyed the pina coladas. The atmosphere was calm, and you could tell that the patrons there were enjoying the majestic view. This family operated restaurant fosters a comfortable and warm environment. Danae and her sister Natalia saw us out and we are so happy to have met them both! A beautiful family inside and out. - Stephanie and Vinny

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Volcano Blue – Santorini, Greece Great location and excellent hospitality, thanks to Panos! Volcano Blue delivers an unforgettable dining experience right in the heart of Santorini. We had the pleasure of enjoying a sunset dinner with breathtaking caldera views. The ambiance was serene and romantic, making it the perfect spot to relax and indulge. The food was awesome — every dish was full of fresh, vibrant flavors. We loved the shrimp toast with sesame seeds, the colorful Greek salad topped with creamy cheese, and the mussels, which were cooked to perfection. Each bite reflected the quality and care put into the kitchen. The complimentary dessert wine added a charm and brought the meal to a delightful close. Service was warm and attentive throughout. If you’re visiting Santorini, Volcano Blue is a must — whether for a sunset drink or a full dinner with friends and family. 📸 Sharing some highlights from our table: • 🍷 A glass of red wine catching the sunset • 🍤 Shrimp toast with sesame and lime • 🥗 Greek salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, olives & cheese • 🦪 Mussels beautifully presented • 🌅 Incredible sunset view with a cruise gliding through the caldera • 🪑 Cozy terrace ambiance and stylish seating Highly recommended!

Perched gracefully on the cliffs of Santorini, our restaurant offers a front-row seat to the most breathtaking show nature has to offer. The terrace opens directly onto the shimmering Aegean Sea, where the horizon stretches endlessly, kissed by golden sunlight and the soft whisper of sea breeze. As you dine, the caldera unfolds before you—crystal waters cradling the volcanic islets, their black rocks stark against the infinite blue. Traditional whitewashed buildings cascade down the hillside around you, glowing warm in the last light of day. And then, the main event: the Santorini sunset. Fiery hues of crimson, tangerine, and rose melt into the sky as the sun dips below the waterline, casting a warm glow over your table and the laughter shared with loved ones. Whether you’re sipping ouzo, indulging in fresh-caught grilled octopus, or simply taking in the serene rhythm of the sea, every meal here is more than food—it’s a moment suspended in beauty. ....

My dining experience at Volcano Blue in Fira, Santorini, was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who made us feel right at home. The ambiance of the restaurant is breathtaking, with its perfect cliffside location offering panoramic views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea. It’s the ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a relaxed evening with friends.

Food & Drinks: The menu at Volcano Blue is a culinary journey through traditional Greek flavors with a modern twist. The seafood is incredibly fresh—I highly recommend the grilled octopus and the seafood platter. The moussaka was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, layered perfectly with a rich, flavorful béchamel. Their selection of local wines pairs wonderfully with the dishes, adding an authentic Santorini touch to the meal.

Service: The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended some local delicacies to try. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed.

Ambiance: The setting is magical, especially at sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while savoring exquisite food is an experience that words cannot fully capture. The decor is tasteful, blending traditional Greek aesthetics with a modern touch.

Overall: Volcano Blue is a must-visit when in Santorini. Whether you're a foodie, a sunset lover, or just someone looking to enjoy a serene evening with exceptional views, this restaurant ticks all the boxes. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting Fira.
