Mr.Pizza & Pasta® — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

To be honest, I am not a fan of pizza. I can't even remember when it was the last time i ate one. But passing by the restaurant, you cannot ignore the preeminence of this smell. So we decided to give it a try.

We ordered a Ceasars salad, a cheeseburger pizza and a pizza special.

The salad was absolutely brilliant. I mean...I cannot even describe how awesome it was. Together with a salad I once ate in Samos island, I would put them I the top tier of the salads I have ever eaten. It was a bit small, but incredibly tasteful.

Both of the pizzas were really huge (we got the L size).

The cheeseburger pizza was really really tasty, and juicy. Exactly like I would have wanted it. It could have a bit more salt, but no big issue.

The pizza special, I did not try it (cause I was already full from the first two slices) but as I could understand by the ones that tried was also perfect.

The staff was also kind and helpful.

The only problem for me is that they do not offer 1.5L beverages. Personally I always remember from when I was young and liked pizza more, that we would always order two pizzas and a 1.5L coke. It's like a pair of chainlinks. You can't take one from another.

Other than that, I would for sure go again. I'll definitely come to the island again, and I'll be back for them...

While staying in Tsilivi, we ordered a pizza one night. It was great, just like we read about it. The delivery guy told us we had luck because it usually takes hours to get your order, and we got ours in half an hour. So two days later we decided to rent a car and go to Zante and visit the place. Oh my… we ordered pasta this time… bolognese… I cook it better, sorry … it was some kind of raw, hard, plastic pasta and minced meat, that was undercooked. That’s it. No sos, no nothing. Tasteless. I went to ask if maybe they forgot to put the sos, or at least to understand what’s going on in my plate. We cook the sos with the meat, that’s why. But you see, there is some dry meat in my plate, and you know, I ate bolognese pasta before, it shouldn’t be like this. No reaction. I didn’t continue my dinner and now I’m sorry I went there in person, cause I really liked their pizza and now my opinion is divided. Yes for pizza, but big no for pasta. I’m just sorry that my only time visiting Zante I spent here and not...

Don’t understand the bad reviews about this place. Clearly wanted a fine dining experience not pizza🙄This is by far the best place on Zante island for pizza and we’ve tried a lot of places here. Staff were so lovely and accommodating, even when it was very busy. The menu had such a good and big variety and the prices were amazing for what you get. The dough to the toppings were so fresh and of a high standard. It was served in a box just like a lovely little pizza takeaway. Pizza was hot and fresh and beat a lot of pizza places back home in the UK also. We took off a few toppings and wanted to add others which they was totally fine with. The place had a nice view along the harbour front and was very clean. Staff went the extra way to make sure everything was perfect. Will highly recommend this place if you love pizza.
