Dali — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

The staff at the Hotel Dali are all very friendly and helpful.||The location of the hotel is fantastic in terms of getting around and being close to the bars/restaurants in Zakynthos. However, we booked a sea view room. Whilst the views were wonderful and we really enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the port, the rooms at the front of the hotel overlook a very busy, noisy road. When you are trying to sleep, this isn´t ideal. Also their is a nearby restaurant which is very noisy most evenings. A shame the windows/doors aren´t sound proofed. ||Room B2 is pleasant enough, but the bathroom really needs a deep clean. There is black mould in the shower area, and the grouting between the floor tiles is in desperate need of being cleaned properly.|Overall, the housekeeping was very hit and miss. Some days they would literally come in, give the bathroom a quick tidy up and throw the bed covers back over the bed (not actually make the bed!) and that was it. Other days, the bed had been made, the bathroom cleaned, cups and glasses washed and floors mopped. The towels could really do with being replaced too, they are obviously very old and a little thread bare.||The breakfast was great, and we looked forward to that each morning. Although it was pretty similar each morning, we were happy with that as the food was so nice. It filled us up so much, most days we didn´t need to bother with lunch. The breakfast cook is lovely and the staff knew after a couple of days which hot drinks we would want and just went ahead and made them.||All in all, if I was to visit Zante again, I would go back to the Hotel Dali. But there are definitely improvements that...

It’s called Dali luxury rooms but there’s nothing luxury about the hotel. We booked a room for 3 people and when we get there the room was only prepared for 2, which later in the evening they gave us the stuff for a third person. The wifi was not consistent and would go in and out a lot of the time. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and they didn’t refill or just didn’t have some food! Mainly just bread, lettuce, tomato, yogurt, cold meats, and cheese. Also, online states parking is included but it is not. Location is great, 7min walk from port and plenty of food options. We stayed at the hotel next door for one night and it was way better for the same price! I wouldn’t stay again but...
