We went there last night for dinner. It was the best food deal we’ve had in Pana since we arrived - the pepusas were all very tasty, they came with a delicious pickled cabbage salad, and the prices were totally reasonable. Our teenage son-whose rebellious nature includes eating as few vegetables as possible- pronounced it delicious and had thirds. It’s pretty small, though, and at 7:30 pm when we went we could rock out in our chairs to the beat of the fairly loud music in Hanna Club, the club across the street (it wasn’t bad, actually, and we don’t like loud music). Ham and Cheese Pupuseria is absolutely delicious! The pupusas are perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside, with just the right amount of ham for flavor. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The curtido and salsa are the perfect complements, and the portions are generous for the price.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to eat here! We were walking towards a higher rated place, but saw this place and decided to give it a go.

Papusas were GREAT! Don’t leave without trying one of the Mixtas so you get the full experience. Service was good and personal, and food came out quickly.
