27 Adentro — Restaurant in Sacatepéquez

We came here for dinner while visiting Antigua, and it was absolutely amazing. We are both vegetarian and had worried about finding food we could eat while in Central America, but 27 Adentro did not disappoint! It was hardly busy at all, we opted to sit inside but they also had an outside roof terrace area. The host who greeted us was so sweet, and the waitress was very accommodating of my poor grasp of Spanish when ordering! The menu is full of vegetarian options, we were spoiled for choice. While we were waiting for it to arrive, they brought us out a free appetiser of roasted brussell sprouts that were SO delicious, and a traditional musician came in (roving musician who has an agreement with restaurants around the city) and played Spanish guitar for us. The main courses and desserts we ordered were absolutely delicious- perfect portion sizes and beautifully presented. Perhaps it was not peak season, but I was so surprised a place like this wasn't busy at all- I can only assume it is a hidden gem that we were very lucky to have discovered! I highly recommend it for an inexpensive meal of very high quality, whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or just enjoy great food...

Absolutely amazing!!! We had an early dinner (finished before 7:30pm) as we had our kids with us. We ordered the ribs for main and Guatemalan beef stew dish, both absolutely amazing dish. I can’t give enough praises to these dishes. Presentation was amazing as well. As a starter we got the pork croquettes and ended up ordering the pork belly tacos - absolutely delicious. The portions were also well sized, we struggled to finish all 4 dishes between my husband and 2 kids. If you are in Antigua it is a must to stop by, also a beautiful venue, amazing service and remarkable dishes. We will be returning again.

FYI - we tried to book a table online but said no seats available, so we decided to arrive a bit before 6pm and had no issue being seated, however around 7:30 the restaurant started to fill up.

My friend and I were walking by and decided to try 27 Adentro for lunch. We were happy with our choice at every turn! The food is delicious and beautifully presented--my friend had a delicious Tortilla LaSagna and I had an exquisite Pollo (Chicken) Fricase. We shared a soon-to-be added-to-the-menu dessert, a mango, blackberry sorbet served between a yummy biscuit made of pecans, oatmeal and dates. Service is superb, the decor is relaxed-modern and the Cuban music puts one in a joyful mood. Chef Thomas and his wife Natalia are on top of every detail and make one feel at home, along with server Ana. The food includes gluten-free and vegan options.
