I went back and forth between 4 or 5 stars for this review. We went twice. The first time, we were a bit disappointed with the food and coffee but the second time we ordered differently and enjoyed our meal much more.

The smoothies are fabulous. Very flavorful. I also very much enjoyed the mocha. The hot chocolate is made with hot milk and real chocolate and they provide the chocolate to dip and mix at the table (it comes with marshmallows on the side).

They have tons of breakfast combination specials that are a much better value than ordering things individually. The baked eggs dish was good (but not as good as similar breakfasts we've had elsewhere in Antigua). The coffee was also perfectly decent but relative to the excellent coffee we've had elsewhere in Guatamala, it was unexciting.

The service was fairly slow the first time we went as they were very busy. The second time we went the restaurant was empty and the food came out very quickly. The sitting area is a lovely garden. It's very pretty and serene.

Overall I changed the review to 5 stars because we did rather enjoy our visits but my caveat is that it depends what you order, how busy they are, and what you are...

This is the best breakfast I have possibly ever had ! I ordered the French toast with cinnimon cream cheese, maple syrup, limonada con soda and hash browns. The French toast is light and fluffy with the topping coming out separate so you can control how much you add, the cinnimon cream cheese is delectably delicious and not over the top with sweetness. The prices are extraordinarily fair and affordable ,especially for the area. I have now come here twice in 2 days and I just can’t get enough! The limonada is also perfect , not too sweet and not too sour. They also offer an array of other options, my friend got a bagel sandwich and said it was absolutely incredible ! All of the menu items are incredibly customizable because of the mix and match template. The music is also sweet and non-intrusive in both volume and in genre and creates a very sweet and positive atmosphere which adds to the already beautifully simple and homey decor. Delicious, affordable , beautiful, and 1000% Pinterest worthy. For brunch, lunch, breakfast or whatever other meal you can imagine this place is a must visit spot for anyone visiting Antigua.
