We have dinned at Casa Santo Domingo several times since it first opened. The reason I gave it four stars is because of the beautifully restored setting. It is the ancient Dominican monastery and is absolutely stunning. The service was fine also, although they got a little confused. We enjoyed very much the tour of the kitchen. This is a professional operation. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I am speaking mainly of the steaks.
