We went for the first time here as one friend recommend us the restaurant. I think the food was ok, small portions, but we can say tasty. Not fresh pasta but well cooked. I cannot say it's always like this the service, but I will tell you our experience that night: since the explanation of the menu, the attitude of the chef was bit arrogant, but we didn't mind that much. But when asked to the chef about what types of wine he had, his only short harsh answer was red or white? we wanted to know what cepage and we asked him. He answered us in rude manner, saying wine was or red or white... clearly annoyed by my question. At the end he brought The Red and The White so I could choose, but again letting us feel he was annoyed by doing so. So even though food was good, for this incident I won't recommend it, as it leaves you with a bittersweet feeling. For italians, we've prefered the service at Davinci or El Cazador italiano, similar prices, but they took their time to welcome us and explains us the menu as the wines, also food was excellent, so it make a perfect experience. Thing that we couldn't experience at...
Read moreWOW IS THIS PlACE CHEAP! Walked into this restaurant after looking at the menu posted outside. My boyfriend and I were looking for some wine and antipasto. I went to the bathroom and didn’t think the food at the other table looked very good when I passed by... After returning to my table my boyfriend and I decided that the price point was too high to chance having bad food. We decided to leave and go to a different Italian place that we know to be good. While getting up to leave the waiter ran over to us and tried to charge us 25Q for two glasses of water (not bottled just tap water)! Whoever is the owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves. You can get a meal anywhere even in the market or at a comedor and they will give you all the water you can drink for free. Wow are you cheap for being such a “nice” restaurant that you have to charge 25Q for some filtered water.
BETTER OPTIONS- Down the street is La Pasta Nostra which is really good or go to Romeo and Juliette for an amazing Antipasto plate. If you want delicious handmade ravioli and tapas go...

we have been to too many Italian restaurants around the world…this has to be the worst ever. the only plus is the location. Let me start by saying..there’s a lack of waitstaff. The whole operation is run by a 2 man team. 1 waiter and 1 chef/owner. The waiter is run like a work horse and we hope he gets compensated very well for all the work he does. the Chef/owner has to be the rudest person we have encountered. He comes very arrogant!!!! he comes to you and tries to explain the over complicated menu in Spanish. He got upset whenever we said the kids don’t understand Spanish. He replied with “you should have told me before”. At this point we were so frustrated with him…we just ordered a caprese salad (it was just ok) and a calamari (a total mess, even the homeless would give it back). We got the overpriced bill and left. Never to return and definitely will share with everyone about This...
